Oval was so kind and friendly, drawing us in from the villas next door. We visited one night to listen to live music and Ovalâs hospitality brought us back for dinner later in the week. Great guy, great food and great spot!

We ate here every night and never ran out of things to try. It's right on the beach and a great place to watch the sunset. The workers are all very friendly and the food is good and inexpensive. Lots of vegetarian options, too. The eggplant curry was very good. My husband loved the hamburger. We tried several of the Indonesian food options and all were good.

Had a few drinks on the loungers before getting a table for food. Both the fajitas and burrito were really tasty. Staff were very friendly. Good location. Lost a star as portion size was pretty small but other than that a nice place for drinks or dinner.

Great food, great service and attentive staff. Raja is everything you look for in a holiday bar/restaurant. The staff are superb and spend time interacting with guests - special mention to Ayon who is a superstar and keeps everyone entertained. A handful of 'locals' drink here and it's really interesting to sit at the bar and chat to them.The food was excellent - ikan sambal matah (fish with sambal) was divine. I'd highly recommend paying Raja a visit during your stay on the island.

Stayed for 3 nights after a long 3 week holiday elsewhere. On arrival we were checked in within seconds. They were obviously expecting us and didn't feel the need to go through the usual admin none sense. The bungalows are spacious and clean with hammocks at the front and open air bathroom at the back. The rooms are a little dark in the evening, especially as they lack a central light (same goes for the bathroom - midnight poo's are a little eerie). Overall though I enjoyed the rooms and slept well (beds have fully enclosed netting).The restaurant and beach bar out front were pretty good. Service is a little slow at times, but having sampled the pizza, kebabs, seafood and of course nasi and mi goreng, the food is top notch. The fresh juices are good too.Waiting staff were always helpful and polite with great personalities.Would visit again - location is about 300m from the dock, but has plenty of other restaurants and conveniences stores within metres - plus a very good spa (Jasmin Spa).

We came here two times because it really worth it; nice food (we choose fish for the BBQ and take plate à la carte as well) good cocktails and amazing service.You can have a lovely dinner just on the seafront with your feet on the sand; the staff, Rahmad, Dharma and all the other guys will make everything to make you feel welcome and give to you the best service

Maybe we went there in the wrong moment at the wrong time. There was a lot of folks, joining a birthday party of someone (might have been the boss). They were yelling at eachother from the one table to the other. But especially smoking, and that's something very disturbing for my appetite. Next days when we passed by, it was chill in the reestaurant, so we had the wrong moment. Chicken was tasty, but in Belgium we are used to very tasty chicken in different ways. The home made pepper sauce was really good. When eating a chicken, we use our fingers and after the meal it's nice to clean them. There was no sink to wash your hands. Maybe a finger wipe cloth could be useful.hello FrankvanOdielyes indeed you do not arrive at the right time, we are sorry.you are arriving the day of the opening of the restaurant as well as the day of the birthday of the boss.the day after when you came, it was the second day of opening, we now have a washbasin.Sorry for the inconvenience.
