It was almost by accident that we came across this delightful restaurant in the main street. There was an English / Italian menu on the front wall and after looking it over we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. We were met by the owner, welcomed warmly and seated at our table. We were immediately impressed by the modern, clean and tasteful furnishings and decor, and, the unobtrusive pleasant background music. The menu was extensive enough to satisfy most tastes and the prices very reasonable. Our food came in good time, was hot and delicious. It was probably the best meal we have had since arriving in this area 3 weeks ago. This restaurant is new and deserves many more customers. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Visited here for the first time. Recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. The hosts were very pleasant and explained the dishes on view. The steaks are delicious from a tomahawk to pork loin and sausages and spatchcock partridge. The wine on offer goes from reasonable to expensive, but the Prosecco is only â¬8 and very nice. All in all a pleasant visit and lovely for a special occasion.Well worth a try

Come dice il proverbio nelle botti piccole câè il vino buono... piccolo posto ma bel ambiente curato ottima birra e ottimo tutto, dai panini si vede che la carne e greca e non congelata passando per la lingua specialità della casa fino al picchiapó. La birra tutta da gustare e costi OTTIMI.

This one unusual place, which is difficult to find (as many are in Calabria), when you enter you are greeted by the wonderful aroma of dried meats which are hung from the ceiling remember to duck your head as you walk around. We were a party of 19 and occupied the entire length of the main eating area, there is another room equally decorated with the hanging meats which is also a dining area. The table was laid with a whole variety of salami's, even horse (don't be squeamish it taste wonderful), cheeses, olives, bread large flagons of self filling wine, water and lemonade. Another dish they provided was lardo on warm bread coated with honey. Lardo which is that rich tasting fat but the addition of the honey really tempers richness of it and it a taste sensation.Following the starters there was then a procession of different types of meat beginning, with chicken, boar, turkey, pork and so on until you say basta (enough). This then followed by a light almond parfait and the wonderful liqueurs. The cost of this wonderful feast was 25 euros ahead. Looking forward to a return visit

Seguendo i consigli di tripadvisor abbiamo scelto questo pub. Le aspettative alte sono state ampiamente superate dopo l'assaggio.Tutto impeccabile: la presentazione, il servizio da parte di ragazzi gentili, preparati che ci hanno dato consigli e spiegazioni riguardo i piatti, e poi gli hamburger, i bagels...i DOLCI!!! Fantastici, ci ritorneremo spesso anche se è lontano, consigliatissimo!

I was recommended to try this place which is just 5 mins from gioiosa old town in Martone. Traditional setting with wooden table and chairs with table cloths. We were advised there was no menu but offered more or less whatever we wanted . A bit confusing if you are price conscious . In fact we had so much antipasti dishes it WAS our meal. The food was a surprise as we did not know what was going to arrive next but between us all we ate everything up.Family orientated and east pleading family restaurant. Great if you want to trial authentic italian local dishes but also caters for individual needs.Well worth a visit if you nearby.

Indubbiamente si tratta di un'eccellenza sul territorio. Dall'accoglienza al commiato è un susseguirsi di attenzioni da parte del personale più che qualificato e professionale. Interessanti e di qualità le proposte di carne che letteralmente mandano in estasi i palati più raffinati. Consiglio vivamente qualsivoglia pietanza vi viene proposta, ho degustato di tutto con enorme soddisfazione e non tarderò a ritornarci. Complimenti ai proprietari

Fantastic Calabrese cuisine, and a great atmosphere. Try to get a table outside on the patio in the summer. Don't get there too early ... ideally arrive at 9 or 10 pm to get in the place when it's in full swing!

I visited this restaurant today on the recommendation of my hotel. The food was excellent and I chose a very good bottle of wine intending to return this evening. However I was placed opposite a door from which a large group of children continued to go out and come in throughout the meal banging the door every time and the parents and the owner saying nothing. Finally after 2.5 hours I had enough. I had a headache and my lunchtime ruined by the owner and the parents of the children did not care. In addition the credit card machine did not work so I had to pay in cash, a current occurrence since cash is preferred. I live in Italy so am accustomed to eating in restaurants that are full of families that are vivacious and noisy but the lack of consideration here was unusual and unacceptable.
