A new style of restaurant giving you the very best choice of Wood Fired Meats & Pizza. We source the absolute best quality meats from all over the world. Porkyâs has one of the best Wood Fired pizza ovens direct from Naples (Italy) to give you the most un
We had a table booked so didn't take long to be seated, the big light above flickered constantly, along with the rest of them..I was suffering with a headache so I just thought iwas more sensitive to the flicker than others but she told me other people had complained about it.... When not just change the bulbs! After we moved seats, finks came and we placed our order. As we have ages to wait I clocked how poorly the service was going... Including seeing the annoyed cheifs at the lack of pick ups from the hot plate..... At times all 3 servers and the manager was stood around the till area while food was sitting waiting to be collected to go to tables ... Comical to watch, no one had any idea how to run a service. At one point a young girl pulled the manager for leaving a cleaning bottle n dirty cloth on a table, he thought is was fine until she pointed out a child could get it.Starters, dry garlic bread... Fire pit prawns, 3 not so jumbo prawns on a mass of salad.... We had to request, cutlery as bin was given.Mains, porter house steaks, his was thicker than mins cook cooked well, mine was over cooked and was the end steak so not great, chewy and tough, he asked for mayo, it never came. You need to improve on the service if your going to make it, check if the food is OK once served, check on drinks, and get rid of that black paper that you end up eating with your food. Will I go back.... Can't see it, shame as it was recommended by a friend who loves it, not sure why! Hi Michelle_uk76,Thanks for taking time out to give us real honest feedback, without which we could not improve. There are a number of points you raise and I would like to address them personally!I would also like to here how we can improve the experience further so please email meMany ThanksSteve LightleyGeneral [email protected]
Newly established Korean BBQ restaurant located in Newcastle city centre area. We only use top quality meats, vegetables and as natural as possible ingredients for all dishes. Plenty choices for vegetarians and vegans as well. Large variety choice of Asia
We visited at 9pm, after a visit to the cinema. Staff were friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. They helped me with my chop stick technique. Opting for the meat feast, there was more than enough for 2 people. You cook it yourself at the table and the flavours were incredible especially the beef and chicken. They make their own sauces and sides, as well as marinating all meats in house. Only opened in August 2019, would recommend for a date night. The place is cosy with a laid back atmosphere and not far from Dean Street car park. I hope this place does well as we intend to come back in the future.

COOP Chicken House is located just a minutes walk from Newcastle's Central Station on Collingwood Street, dead opposite Revolution Vodka Bar and across the way from some of the town's most popular bars and clubs. We're all about simple food done well with
Had the house wings with two sides( coleslaw/fries). £12 is great value and the wings were the best Iâve had, which is not to downplay the sides which were also incredibly good. The beer selection is varied and for a restaurant, really good value. I asked for a portion of the nuts to take away, which was no problem and a very generous amount. All this, coupled with great service from the guys who were on( my apologies, not rude but not one for name badge staring and being over familiar. As someone who works in a shop, common courtesy and good manners dont require first name terms on the first visit. Although Iâd easily get them a beer!) made this a truly enjoyable visit and Iâd recommend Coop to anyone and everyone. This recommendation is reinforced by the fact I was flying solo and still thoroughly enjoyed it.Nice review, glad you liked it - thanks!

Years working in bars - and even longer visiting them - made us want to do it ourselves, focusing on everything we love about this industry: Great drinks, tasty food and BBQ. With that in mind, we cook low and slow BBQ everyday. To keep our quality the hi
We visited here after seeing amazing reviews online, however we were both severely disappointed. Positives: Chicken wings for starters were great and freshly cookedGreat drink selectionQuirky place with great atmosphereGood girl who served us was brilliantNegatives: dry burgers Reheated chipsServed in baskets (like you would expect in a dingy takeaway)Expensive for the quality of ingredients I am a proper foodie and will eat almost anything, and I left a lot of my burger cause it was so dry. Such a shame! Might be worth investing in better quality meat and cooking it lessI love the idea of this place but have to say I was so disappointed
