Was looking forward to this restaurant from booking our holiday. Found the place on the first night we arrived about 6.30 pm. Despite all signs and website advising of a 6pm opening the waitress told us to come back at 7pm. We didnât that night but unperturbed we ventured back another night. Very disappointed. I ordered the chicken (came out minced - very dry) the Aberdeen Angus was ok but the sesame buns on both were like cardboard. Got a barbecue sauce extra (McDonalds portion but not as good) onion rings extra simple to make fresh, but these definitely frozen. Girls girls girls, get it right - itâs really not rocket science. Would have preferred more shabby and definitely more time needed in the lab!! Decor was great but as for the rest ....... style over substance.

I spent a week in Frascati and ate at different restaurants each night. At the end of the week, I returned to my favorite, Al Cortiletto. The restaurant is a bit off the busy central section of town, not far from the train station. Operated by a mother-daughter team, the food was great, the service friendly, and the interior is pleasantly decorated. I liked the high ceilings. There is an area upstairs, but it was not used while we were there. Perhaps it is for reserved groups or very busy occasions. The noise level is low, and there were many couples having quiet dinners together. Our Italian is very limited, but our server spoke excellent English and was quite helpful. Highly recommended.

Stumbled across this restaurant on our last night in Frascati and decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed.Fresh cuts of ham and a huge peice of buffalo mozzarella, which was delicious.Huge pizza, thin crust with more fresh meat and veg, probably the best one we had in Frascati.Pasta Rigatonni with creamy mushroom and sausage sauce was also delicious.Thoroughly recommend going here, you won't be disappointed. Menu in english too.

Many of the other reviewers seem to remember Maroncio in happier days. We were not a part of that time, but we did seek it out last night on the advice of the concierge at our hotel, and we found that that food was excellent. The service was too. Unfortunately, it took us quite a while to find the place because there's no sign. When we arrived, the maitre d', the only one who appeared to speak English, admitted this was often quite problematic. The place seems to have an established clientele of locals, however, and it was packed on a Tuesday night. So why change things, when it seems to be working quite well? Offers good traditional Italian fare. Not spectacular, but quite good with a homey feel. Definitely a place of the tourist trek and some rudimentary knowledge of Italian stands one in good stead, because there is (proudly from the restaurant's perspective) no translation into English or any other language. Just look for the little number 8 on Via de Vermicino in Tor Vergata (don't set the GPS to Frascati, because it will take you somewhere completely different!)

Situated in the heart of the Castelli Romani area, the Agriturismo Tenuta Santi Apostoli is at just few minutes from Rome. Surrounded by 18 hectares of vineyards, this late 19th century Estate, offers a wide indoor room with a characteristic cave, where t
My husband and I celebrated our wedding here on 31st August. We were married in the uk and had our celebration with 50 friends and family in Frascati. The owners of the venue communicated with us via email, for months before hand. When we arrived in Italy they invited us to look around their wonderful restaurant and were extremely accommodating. There was a choice of menu and we sampled the wine beforehand. The meal itself was fantastic with more food than we could possibly eat. The restaurant had been set up beautifully and the owners and staff couldn't do enough to make our evening perfect. I cannot recommend this restaurant/vineyard highly enough! We are hoping to return for our first anniversary, as are many of our friends and family. Thank you so much for making our celebration so special!

This hidden gem on the Piazza Gariboldi is warm and inviting with friendly staff who speak excellent English and even when we tried to speak basic Italian were good enough to help with our pronunciation. The decor was well finished with traditional touches that made you feel that you were about to be served a good home cooked meal.As it was lunch time we skipped the starter and just went for a pasta course, mine was Pasta with Gorgonzola & Radicchio. which was first class. The wine was recommended and of course we went for a fine white Frascati recommended by the waitress which was excellent and not expensive at 20 euro a bottle. To finish I had the Tiramisu which was as light as a cloud. followed by a strong espresso to wake me up for the rest of the time walking around this gem of a town. This is a must visit restaurant and worth a trip up to this hill top town overlooking Rome. if you go around dusk and stand near the walls at the north of Frascati you will see the lights coming on all over Rome. Very atmospheric. I would recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.
