Food was good, brisket tasty and the fried green tomatoes yummy. Venue is casual and comfortable and overall it was a great evening with my family. Although location is not fabulous, it's relatively safe. I would go again.

I went to McDonald's BBQ in January of 2016. I have not been to this place for about 15 years. Nothing has changed. Same cook, same service, same great ribs. Great smoked pork ribs. Tender beef ribs, with a hint of island flavor. Fantastic sauce. Carolina style with mustard. I got some extra to go, it is that good. Reasonably priced, with nice sized portions. I food recommend this place to all BBQ lovers.The wait can be long due to the one man show serving the food and playing cashier. So get there at opening time and you will save your self some time.

Brisket sandwich was tasty and tender but not enough meat and a bit fatty. Pulled Pork platter was good and generous portions. Service was friendly and efficient and the place is comfortable. Coleslaw and sweet potato fries were decent. Cornbread was average and broccoli casserole was not so good. Overall and enjoyable meal. Thank you for your positive recommendation. I don't know what one viewer was saying too much garlic.... The food here was great.... I've tried different Portuguese places & this one is the best to me.... The place sit on a corner.... Good luck finding parking, a very busy street.... I will visit here again....
