The restaurant does not look particularly special and the fixed price menu had some odd sounding dishes. As virtually nowhere else was open, we stuck with it and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent. I chose broad beans and anchovies in almond sauce because I simply couldn't believe it would work. It was absolutely delicious. As was the bacalao with artichoke puree and deep fried artichoke hearts. It was the best bacalao dish have ever had. The cuajada and local honey were sublime. My partner's choices were more conventional - leeks vinaigrette, pig cheeks with prunes and creme caramel - also very well executed.This menu del dia was 20 euros, including mineral water. A bottle of very good DOC wine, one coffee and a very large brandy brought the whole bill to 52 euros for the 2 of usWe sat outside on a pleasant terrace. There were only about 5 other tables occupied. The waiter (owner??) was friendly, efficient and unobtrusive, but very willing to discuss the food and its origins.

Was in Banyuls for University research and struggled to find somewhere that served excellent food that was reasonably priced. When I found this place with fellow students we went every other night. Delicious food, great beer and the local wine they have is unbelievable. A must visit, on first impressions it may not seem tempting but it is a hidden gem!

Tout au bord d'une piscine moderne, à l'abri du vent et du soleil, on peut tout en se baignant faire un repas tapas avec une carte originale.La qualité de ce que l'on vous sert est au rendez vous tout autant que le raffinement des mets .Vraiment un endroit à fréquenter sans modération !
