Friendly local cafe/restaurant in the town centre serving up Portuguese style BBQ chicken/fish. Highly recommend this place, the food was excellent at a very reasonable price too. I tried the piri-piri style chicken and my wife the Portuguese bacalao (grilled salted cod) washed down with a Portuguese wine. Conveniently, there is a car park located opposite the restaurant.

A catalan gastronomy experience. We are regular customers and we always enjoy the menu from Tuesday to Thursday and the "calçotades" and barbecue on the weekends. The owner Eduardo Gonzalez cares about any detail and manages the restaurant working hard. I will recommend this place to everyone: couples, business, family and children.

Owner is Armenian who speaks Spanish and English, waiter Lauren speaks French and English.Could not have been more accommodating for breakfast ,getting and cooking virtually anything we requested. The owner owns the butcher's across the road and the conversation with him got round to steaks.Before long he agreed to cook us steak for breakfast the following morning.The rib eye steaks we had were huge and one of the juiciest, tender tasty steaks i have ever had.We were 6 scotsmen and all agreed the steaks were magnificent, we also had some fried chorizo which was also awesome.The owner opened early especially for us on the last day of our holiday to allow us to have breakfast before catching our flight.Best service, best chorizo, best steak. If you are in the area give it a try.

Excellent food 10/10. Both of us had Pizza and calzone and it was one of the best I've ever tasted.We were staying in a nearby hotel and this was only a 15 minute walk away as the nearest town wasn't within walking distance

We were a family group of six adults and one child - an awkward seating number. The staff quickly rearranged tables to accommodate us and drinks ordered.Food was freshly cooked, with more than ample, tasty portions. We were very pleased with our visit and other diners also seemed to be more than happy with their choices.

So after loads of dissapoining food in the resort, this place was a breath of freash air. Great atmpsphere, great food, great prices and totally made up for a awful meal the pervious night in a restaurant in the resort which is highly rated. Please please try this place you will not be dissapointed cannot recomend highly enough A +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

We tried this restaurant based on the good reviews and ratings, but we were very disappointed.The menu is impossible to understand, both in English and Spanish. Quantities are unclear; what is a starter and what is a main? How many dishes should you order?Prices are on the high side. 8 euros for a "salad" which ended up being 3 romaine lettuce shells with canned tuna. 4 euros for a soda. The meat was chewy, the patatas greasy. Definitely not coming back here.

It took a bit of finding and wasn't actually open when we arrived, so we went back later. It was a good move as the service was excellent (and our lovely waitress spoke excellent English), the bread and dips were absolutely delicious (traditional Argentinian chimichurri) and our steaks cooked to perfection. With an interesting chart to show examples of 'blue' through to well done, this was a restaurant well worth the effort of finding as it is a little off the main areas.Excellent choice of wine too and reasonable prices for the area. So good, we booked to return for lunch in 2 days before returning home!The quality and the cooking point are very important to us. We congratulate you that you like our meat.Thank you for your opinion.

So me and my husband visited here after it being recomended for our anniversary on the 15th Sept. Well thid place ruined our wedding anniversary!!So to start, it was a busy place and we were really happy they had a table for us. This is the only positive SORRY * Starter - Endives with Roquefort dressing and prawn ( cocktail ) style dish - Well my chicory was rotten and brown and the prawns were transparant with their tracks still in. service had been good until this point but, when we pointed out the problems the service changed and was dismissive and rude.* Main - Steak for my husband - Good and well cooked, served with jacket potatoes which were close to being raw in the centre. Not served with anything else and such a problem to get a salad served it was painful. I had chicken and it was dry and over cooked and i had ordered a Green pepper corn sauce which was a lumpy bland mess. Not good at all and wouls never recomend, also locals were treated so much better it was a joke. !!
