"Da Ciacci" is a typical example of those Italian resturants offering a fixed menu (here you can choose courses among few alternatives) with a selection of traditional recipes. It's a family-run restaurant with a warm atmosphere and kind people. The cuisine is, as said, traditional or directly inspired by traditional recipes and it's also based on local ingredients. The appetizers are famous and very rich with a selection of cheese and cold meat and typical preserved vegetables. First courses are satisfying and tasty; among them you may choose "passatelli" (a kind of pasta made with breadcrumb, cheese and egg) with porcini mushrooms as well as pappardelle with duck sauce. After, a selection of grilled meat is usually offered, with a normal quality, good but not extraordinary maybe, anyway pleasant. If you want to have a good sample of local tastes for a relatively cheap price (about 25⬠for person) it may be a nice choice.

The food is wonderful, the pasta is exquisit, and the view from the terrasse is breathtaking, but be sure to make a reservation, because it's always completely booked. The owner is not very friendly (he knows that there always new customers coming), but forget that and enjoy the food!!

Slowcanda is a small, family-run agri-tourism provider, offering you the opportunity to stay or rest in a small mountain village and enjoy fresh, local food that has been exceptionally-well prepared and presented. Both the restaurant and the b&b provide great value and were two highlights of our trip to Italy. The RestaurantThe menu features imaginative and tasty combinations of local ingredients in season. For example, one of the numerous appetizers we were offered consisted of melon balls, arugula leaves and red peppercorns in a vinaigrette-style dressing. Another was goat ricotta sprinkled with bee pollen. The chicken dish was succulent and the quail was nicely grilled. The goat milk yogurt and goat ricotta cheese were both light and tasty â none of that stronger goat milk taste that we usually find in these foods back home. The wines were delicious, reasonably-priced local ones. The restaurant was exceptionally accommodating to our food intolerances. There was plenty of choice among goat milk and cheese products (we have trouble with cow milk and cheese). The wheat and potato-free crackers and grilled breads were crisp. Also helpful was that one owner and one staff member spoke English, and one of them was fluent. The Ambiance / The B&B and VillageThe village of Baciardi is nestled in the mountains. The village roads are cobblestone and the buildings have traditional clay tile roofs. It is small - perhaps up to 20 buildings in all, and we understand that no more than 8 people live there year-round. If you didnât cycle here, park your car on the side of the main road and head on by foot into town, down the steep cobblestone side road, and follow the signs to Slowcanda. One of the things we like the most about this b&b is how the older elements such as stone, wood and rusted metal have been blended and contrasted with artistic new elements. For example, in our ensuite bathroom, there was a new shower and artistic color accents, a second window that had been turned into a wood-framed mirror, and a glass bowl sink sitting on a beautifully finished wood plank. We also enjoyed the many newer-style art pieces. There were plenty of flowers in bloom, and both the owners and staff workers were warm and helpful. We are sensitive to molds and did not detect any musty smells throughout the restaurant and the rest of the b&b.If you are cycling, this would be a great place for a stop. If you like to walk, you can access a network of mountain hiking paths nearby. One night we went walking after dinner along the country road and the flickering fire-flies added to the magic of the experience

I cannot but share the positive opinion of other readers.First of all the place: a very nice home, renewed with great attention to preserve the original farm style, respecting the old constructive traditions of Marche region, so architecturally correct.Second the food: home-made (family business), fresh and high-quality.We were 4 people and have started with 2 "antipasti al tagliere", two generous portions of cheeses and salami, prosciutto, etc. so abundant that were just more than ok for 4 people. We went on with 2 bis of pasta, ravioli burro-salvia and strozzapreti with artichokes, two portions, yet still more than enough for 4 people. We were full, but we had ordered the "costata di vitello" (beef steak) and it was a good cut, medium-rare on the grill. Finally a dessert to-die-for, a pure delicacy for the mouth, a "mousse of zabaione".Wine: as I was driving, I have selected a white, local, with albanella grapes and pinot nero, by Roncaglia; it was welcomed by the guest.I assume that in the summer season is even better, and the place has even some room for a romatic overnigh stay with Italian taste.Recommended for those loving family and old farmhouse style (not glamour or luxury) and the taste of agriturismo.PRICE VERY HONEST!!!

Well, this place is very well renown among my friends, and yesterday I was with a couple of russian friends, here, willing to eat good "florentine" steak.I was here several years ago, but the fame is still very well deserved: we were given two magnificent "fiorentine", one medium rare and one well done, and we could even die after so happy we were...We didn't miss the "passatelli" with mushrooms and fonduta, and I invite the foreign guests to try them, because this is something typically "made-in-Pesaro" you won't find anywhere else in Italy. My Russian guests had preference for "Amarone" di Valpolicella and "Morellino" di Scansano red wines and -Mom!- I really don't know how I could drive them to the hotel and myself back home... I have refreshed my head under the cold water and stayed in the fresh air in the evening to wake up and have a reservoir of life of half an hour, the necessary time to head back home and fall -tired and satisfied- to my bed like a stone.Remarkably fast and quick understanding the two ladies working as waitress.Glad to see that Mondrigo is still a delivered committment!

The philosophy of our restaurant cannot exclude the nature of our farm, which rears pigs and cattle but also offers a wide variety of courses which are the outcome of our best culinary tradition. So you can eat "crescia sfogliata" (a kind of puff pastry f
This was a real treat. Despite being in high season, there seemed to be only a few people eating here and the food and atmosphere were superb. We sat outside, overlooking the beautiful mountains in the distance. Food-wise, the portion sizes were alarmingly large and we couldnât eat nearly all of what we ordered. We shared a salami plate between two of us and, with an enormous basket of warm, mixed breads, and a couple of side dishes thrown in, this would have been more than enough to eat. The meats and other things on the menu, I understand, were raised/grown on the site and the quality was superb. Nevertheless, we had ordered pasta with wild, rather tough, asparagus and a side dish of rather bland raw tomatoes and onions that we were too full to eat. Our friends had dishes similarly delicious to our own: pasta with truffles and gnocchi with rabbit sauce (amazing, and enjoyed by an 11-year-old). This would be a lovely place to stay and is certainly a lovely place to eat. The food is probably similar to what you can get in many Italian places, but the view is incomparable.

We had a great dinner here. We did not have a reservation but the friendly staff managed to squeeze us in last minute. Brilliant antipasto with lovely home made caramelized red onions. Loved the truffle pasta and the red meats.Very friendly people and really good food for a very reasonable price.
