Have had their smoked chicken before (take out), which was the reason for this visit. Got the smoked chicken tacos...the smoked chicken was good but thatâs about all that was good. The taco was overpriced for what it was in comparison to similar bbq tacos Iâve had elsewhere. Wife got the smoked chicken plate with a side of Mac and cheese and it was basically just a lump of mush...the flavor was good but the noodles had been way over cooked. Service was excruciatingly slow. Unless itâs just to pick up some of the smoked chicken, I doubt Iâll return.

The food is pretty darn good, but the service is a little lacking. The day we were there, it was one lady working as hostess, waitress and cashier ... only one lady for the entire restaurant. This was my third time to go there, but the only time they were open. They close at 2:00 pm ... well, sometimes they are open until 5 pm and sometimes they are open until 7 pm. I wish they had a better schedule.

After reading of their special, buy one steak dinner, get one half off, it was time to make a trip to Moon River. Both mine and my husbands steaks were cooked to perfection, tender and as ordered. Could have used a little more garlic seasoning to my liking. Asked a lady at a nearby table, as we were leaving, on how their catfish was, which was buy one get one free. She stated it was fantastic. Canât wait to try that. It was a cold evening and the heat wasnât working in the dining area but they were working on it. It wasnât unbearably cold. Also, it was early and we had to take fries instead of baked potatoes but they were delicious too. Great little place on Lake Barkley! Live Entertainment during the summer months. Canât wait for the new year and warmer weather!
