You have to stop and visit this wonderful roadside Brisket Shack. I enjoyed the plate which included potato salad, beans, bread, brisket and sausage and a drink. DELICIOUS! The atmosphere with outdoor dining only and all the memorabilia that is on the property made for a wonderful experience. They have entertainment stage and "saloon". Definitely going back.

Outstanding barbeque from a food truck. Hard to find, but worth it. Barbeque is served in a nice warm handmade tortilla. Outstanding. Also serve drinks and sides, if you have room. Limited seating outside, so take it home and enjoy. Best barbeque sandwich around.

BBQ food trailer in Austin, Tx serving up the best of BBQ with a tex-mex flare.
Beginning a work trip by stopping at Valentina's given recommendations - was totally worth the 30-minutes waiting in line. The proprietors use Mesquite wood for BBQ, which burns hotter vs Oak offering a different but delicious taste. The brisket, barbacoa and carnitas tacos were simply amazing. Will come back!

A Trailer Restaurant at the intersection of FM 1626 and FM 967.
Want the real Texas BBQ experience? This is the place to get it. This food truck serves great, flavorful BBQ that you can eat outdoors under large Texas Oaks while listening to country music. Get cocktails and beer at Buck's Backyard next door to wash down the cue. There is nothing fancy about this small town barbecue place, but you will love the food and the experience. Vic, owner, and his son run the place and will make you feel right at home. The BBQ is served burrito style in huge homemade flour tortillas. They make several of their own sauces, all are good. And the Jalapeno potato salad is a customer favorite. I also recommend the Smoked Chicken Salad served on a flour tortilla and the awesome Banana Pudding. Better get some BBQ to take home too, if there is still some left. They close when they run out. Shugabees is a little hard to find so look for Buck's Backyard next door. Parking is ample and prices are great!
