A rustic interior with a BBQ , stone floor and wooden tables and chairs which are not cramped up. The menu is typical Bulgarian tasty, well presented and good value.We particularly enjoyed the entertainment provided by a key board player and guitarist who played everything from Bulgarian folk to rock and roll.

great warm staff, they can handle a basic chat in english and very helpful. Food is somewhere from 2 to 3 stars not 4 at all as the hotel pretend it is. But its ok if youre not picky or gurmet.

This is the trendiest place in Borovets ! Food is delicious , homemade and organic ! You can literally ski in and out of it . The choices are fantastic : lunch or dinner whenever you visit. Lovely live music, staff speaks fluent English . Recommended food ( for me and my family ) is chili nachos and brilliant chicken soup, but literally everything from the menu is amazing ! A must place to visit if you visit Borovets winter or summer . Prices are reasonable and the place is clean and spotless !

This is a true family-owned restaurant with excellent food. That's why I wonder why they don't post a good direction sign on the main street - the one they have is hardly visible.Otherwise, it's a magic place, especially taking into account that the owner of the restaurant is a legendary person in Bulgaria, who was not only one of the top skiers in Bulgarian history, but also supervised construction process of the biggest ski lift in Borovets (Yastrebnets) tourists use daily. We were really lucky to meet him and talk to him.I would heartliy recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and opulent Bulgarian food. Roasted pork and kebabs there were definitely the best we tried in Borovets.

We have visited here several times over the years we have been to Borovets and this is a great place. The food is excellent, a little more pricey than some places, but well worth it.The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the main English speaking waitress who does not mind going through bills to make sure everything is clear.The White Horse is one of the best restaurants in Borovets and should not be missed.

The bar itself is great for beer and music and a good place to go for a few hours or all night depending on what you like to do. There are a few places to go in borovets after 9 for music but the guy Krassy who plays here is very talented and it's a great place to get a cheap beer and listen to him. He plays acoustic, electric guitar and other instruments. Covers songs like Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Oasis and many others and is a really nice guy to speak to. I highly recommend going to this place. It's great for a group/couples and families, they show sport here and serve food which looked nice but I didn't have a meal here just went for the music and beers. This place doesn't get rowdy like some of the others.

The local skillet dish is definitely not one for the faint hearted. What a challenge to finish it all and a "flaming" excellent belly buster oozing with flavour.Good service with an easy going singing duo to accompany your fine food and drinks. Log fire sets off the welcoming homely feel.Great choice of local dishes to choose from that were thoroughly enjoyed by all in our party. Its well worth the extra walk further down the hill so don't overlook it because of its location away from the main central selection of bars and restaurants.

Part of the Alpin Hotel, we were seated by the window and to our delight, a hot radiator! The menu is varied with dishes from around Europe and wider. We shared the traditional Bulgarian baked cheese dish which was divine, then I opted for another Bulgarian dish for my main. This stew was tasty and warmed me right up.
