I've eaten here a few times over the years, most recently last night. Dinner was just perfect, the owner and staff hyper polite and very attentive. Food was excellent, service was great. Be sure to request a table with the BBQ in the table, we chose charcoal over the gas flame. They have a ventilation system over each table, so you never smell or sense the smoke. We had bibimbap, glass noodle dish and pork rib BBQ. As you find in Korean restaurants, they serve a nice variety of kimchee. They brought more as soon as they saw that we gobbled them up. Locally produced beer on tap 0,5 l cost $2. Our tab for 3 adults and 2 children was about $60 which is amazing since most restaurants in Bishkek are quite expensive even when they are not great.

Decent Turkish restaurant in Bishkek. Compared to other Turkish restaurants, this one excels in quality of kitchen and interior. The staff was fast and pleasant. If you prefer Turkish cuisine this is the right spot for you.

Sumptious meat and seafood dishes straight off an open-flame grill. Everything from XXL size burgers and BBQ ribs to king prawns and live-caught trout and lobsters, all set in an amazingly designed atmosphere.
Spend a few weeks in Bishkek for business and Torro was recommended by my colleagues. The restaurant is nicely decorated, with a Limousine to sit inside in the middle of the restaurant. The food (Steaks) are ok, remember its in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan! The wine list has some nice quality wins and the prices are fair.Do your own wine service, because the waiters have no idea how to open a bottle or even how to serve the wine. You have to be lucky to find a waiter who speaks English.Overall Torro is ok for a nice lunch/ dinner. Don't have to high expactations!!

It's a nice cafe a bit fancy for me but in general I liked it. The prices are quite high but it's one of those type of cafes (Elite Cafes). I had some grilled sheep and it was nice. I'm not sure I will go back again because of the location out of the center and the prices are a bit out of my budget for what you get. Location is on the south side of Bishkek close to the mountains and near AUCA University.

Well located on a street full of life each evening, we enjoyed Ugolekâs outdoor seating and refreshing ambiance. The food was excellent and provided the opportunity to sample local and international dishes. Service was quick and English/Russian speaking making things a snap. There were live musicians nearby playing saxophone which made it even more cozy. Overall, a great dining experience.

Obama grill offers a nice range of food - most "American Style", a good selection of drinks, and an English Menu! Many of the waiters also speak English. The outdoor seating is pleasant, the indoor is nicely decorated, and the prices are very reasonable. I have been several times for lunch and dinner and will continue to patronize this establishment. :-)

Bone marrow. Donât miss the bone marrow appetizer at this cozy downtown steakhouse (outside tables as well). For about $2.50, my husband and I shared four generous bones filled with marrow, which we spread on toasts. In the States, if you could even find this, it would be $20. We followed this tasty treat with a platter of lamb, chicken and beef sausages and chateaubriand accompanied by a lovely little salad and some tomato caprice with really creamy cheese. The local beer was tasty, according to my husband, and there is imported wine by the glass, which I enjoyed. Our bill was about $35 including a 15 percent tip. A true bargain. We ate in a smaller, cozier room, but there are more elegant rooms there too. Our server Julia, who I think might have been the manager, was great with English.
