Our family has been spending the last few years in Italy and this is definitely the restaurant which offers the best food for money. Wonderful traditional and special pastas, great pizza, excellent wine in a nice environment next to a wonderful swimming pool. Excellent service and kids friendly. All of this based on more than 10 visits to the restaurant.

Went here the other evening to celebrate my friend Debbie's birthday. It is located on the main road of Bardolino (Gardesana) and have parking (very important during the summer season in Bardolino)The restaurant is very nice, luminous and bright. I loved the lounge music, not to high. We drank Lugana Otella and eat pizza (women tend to mix tastes!! :D). The pizza is excellent and does not "remain on your stomach" (as we say in Italy) during the night. Also very important, it doesn't leave you thirsty (another negative thing about some pizzas).Service very good, no fuss, but with much attention.Try the Petali dessert...a small chocolate cake, reminding in someway the famous Sette Veli from Palermo. Simply fantastic!!Rest rooms downstairs, very clean and spacious !!

We arrived in Bardolino exhausted from our long trip, and the proprietors at our hotel , the ValBella, recommended this restaurant for dinner. It was literally a stone's throw away, and we were rewarded with a homey atmosphere, welcoming staff, and wonderful food. Grilling is a specialty, and the steaks were great. The prices were very reasonable, and if we were staying in the area linger would have gladly returned.

Disaster! Where is this American dinner!??...this was not american diner!!! Pizza with no taste, lasagne disaster and kebab that kebab has never seen? Very bad food..very bad. The juices were ok, but the beer and wine were of a seemingly inexpensive quality. I'm sorry the money we left there. Staff also uninterested. We will not come backDear Ana, we try every day to make the best for our clients. We control always all the food that we serve (for us is really important the freshness and the quality) that's why we will try to understand why your dinner was that bad.

Sadly we didnât have a positive experience of this place. Looks lovely and authentic from the outside and we thought we would be getting a real treat but neither the service nor the food met the mark. I had a slab of Lasagne which was more pasta than meat and looked miserable on my plate and hubs had a duck dish, which he described as âdisgustingâ. Also unnerving was a guy constantly creeping around behind people then reaching over shoulders and taking plates, even before other people on the table had finished; gave off the impression that they wanted you out of there. Oh well, live and learn, we wonât return. Hope anybody reading this has a better experience than we did.

This really should be considered a destination more than a restaurant. The wines are original to the restaurant and (this is Bardolino, a very enjoyable but not glorious wine) the reds and Chiaretto are superb. The location above Lake Garda is beautiful and comfortable and visitors should schedule a separate trip down to the lake and around the grounds - you'll love it! I found the regional menu enjoyable, if not memorable, but that's really not the point. The service is friendly and welcoming, and with a lifetime of travel, perfectly enjoyable. For a trip to the lake and a fun and delicious lunch, I recommend it!
