Cozy place to eat lunch or dinner. We had a steak and some lamb ribs and the meat quality and cooking was perfect. I really recommend a dessert leche frita which is fantastic. Good value, clean and staff was polite and friendly.

We were a group of 14, ages 7-54. Dinner was wonderful. Tasty with great variety of dishes.Alina was super efficient and dishes served just on time.Everyone had a wonderful time.

It's always exciting to find Les Ares is still there, an old auberge in the Pyrenees, and to go into the warmth of the inn and hope they have a table free. Once seated it's always an easy decision to order the lamb cutlets which they cook on the hearth fire in the dining room - it's fun watching them being cooked whilst you enjoy your starter. The selection of wines is good and not expensive. There is a good array of desserts to finish off the meal. It's always fun to visit Les Ares where there is a very warm welcome. Remember they only take cash so make sure you bring it with you otherwise it's a long way to find a bank in the mountains! Always look forward toncoming back.

El tÃtulo lo resume todo. 30⬠por un plato minúsculo de arroz, una cerveza, una copa de vino, un postre y un café. Todo muy bueno, todo muy bonito pero... excesivo. El detalle feo: ver a los cocineros en calzoncillos cambiándose de pantalón en la cocina (abierta) mientras yo salÃa del local.

We stopped to try their Sunday lunch menu (â¬16) which was three courses including wine, water and bread. The price was very fair for the good quality food we had; their menu had several options. The staff were friendly and helpful.Definitely recommended!

We drove through 9km of beat up road/terrain. Though people do, I don't recommend you talking your BMW there. It's more a 4x4 terrain. Pet a cow on the way through, we stopped and had lunch there in the middle of a beautiful October day. We will return. Catch the dogs and the sled for a spiked up price during winter time, enjoy a warm soup there and the beautiful chapel.The landscape is incredibly beautiful and it is worth every kilometer/mile to travel.

My friend advised me to visit this restaurant. As a result, we have lunch and dinner there several times and even celebrated the New Year.The restaurant is located in a quiet and picturesque location in the mountains, next to the river. Nearby is a walking trail in the mountains and if you wish, you can work up an appetite before a delicious and hearty meal.The restaurant specializes in a variety of meat dishes. It offers a choice of dishes from the set menu costing to 40 euros. Having tried many of the dishes at this restaurant, I can say that I have a strong desire to come back again and willingness to advise this place for meat lovers. Restaurant owned by the hospitable owner aranese. He is assisted by friendly, energetic team. Here you can taste wild boar or venison, caught on the hunt by the owner.The restaurant offers a great selection of delicious wines, most of which you will not find in other restaurants. For wine offers incredibly delicious assortment of local cheeses and meats. And at the end of dinner, do not forget to drink a strong cortado with a delicious chocolate coulant.

We stopped here on our trip through the Pyrenees. We sat on the small lawn in front of the place we're we ordered tuna and tomato and sopresada bocadillos. They were delicious and the bread was fantastic! Crunchy and tasty, way better than the much celebrated baguette!

After having said they don't speak much English the host worked hard to explain the menu. We very much enjoyed our Beef Carpaccio which meat was described as Buey and translates as Ox but seemed like beef to us. The entrecot also Buey was an excellent beef steak as was the Buey Hamburguesas a very good beef burger . Very friendly staff. Lovely village location. Helpfully open when other places were closed. We went there because it was across the street from our rental. The meat was amazing and cooked to perfection. The wine selection complemented it very well. The service is fantastic.
