Things to do in Bacolod
Even though this place is owned and run by actual Koreans, the food is pretty bland and sickingly sweet... The quality of the meat is also subpar, loaded with fat. It feels that the owners think that the locals can't tell what is authentic and good Korean food and that they can get away With it. The eat all you can deal seems like good value, but in wouldn't recommend stuffing yourself with below average food. The other Korean place across the street is better.

We come to Bacolod at least once in two months starting last 2015. But itâs just this year that we have tried Nenaâs Rose II Chicken Inasal. To be fair, their chicken is delicious but to me itâs dry. Still, maybe thatâs their original taste.

This manokan country inasan chicken is claimed to be best since 1983, many branches in shopping mall in Bacolod city and shops. This branch is on main Lacson street where a lot of impotant places locates. The ambience is traditional , cozy, making good appetite. There is option of unlimited rice and soup. To complete this famous dish , I eat with my own hands with three types of sauces:red-orange oily one, limejuice and soy sauce.

The chicken inasal paired with vinegar, soy sauce and chicken oil is a given for most Bacolod chicken inasal restaurants. Masskara Chicken Inasal surprised us with their pork barbeque and noodles. The pork barbeque is soft and tender and just the right mix of saltiness and sweetness. We had to order one after another because every time the 15 pieces order would be served, it disappeared in less than 2 minutes. We almost forgot to give way to the children and elders. As for the noodles, i couldnât forget the crispiness of the vegetables, the taste of rest of the ingredients and of course the noodles itself. When i visit restaurants, i also check the set up and look but this time, I just lost my focus. The decors are minimal, the set-up simple but who needs fancy decors when you only need to care about the food in the table!

Bacolod City's original and best back ribs since 2006. Originated from Homesite Bacolod and transfered to Magsaysay Ave. behind Luxur's place on 2012. Filipino-western restaurant.
Lord Byron's has the best baby back ribs in Bacolod. The price is unbeatable by competitors. The serving is also big, which makes it really a deal. The place is not really that accessible. Its a bit far from the city center. Don't miss this when you are in Bacolod.

THE ORIGINAL BACK RIBS IN HOMESITE Home of Bacolod's Best backribs Formerly known as Lord Byron's Backribs Bacolod
If you don't mind the crowded and noisy ambiance, Byron's Back Ribs at SM-Bacolod's food court is one outlet that's really worth a visit. Offering tender and lip-smacking ribs that's quite generous in size, the wife and I tremendously enjoyed the signature meal (P169). With Java rice and a delicious sauce that's not too sweet either, that was clearly the best ribs we've had in a long time. They also have a junior variant that goes for P99 only.thank you!

On our last night of our 3 nights vacation, and because it is near our hotel (Avenue Suites), we decided to try this restaurant and their famous Chicken Inasal. The restaurant is spacious, clean, but non-air conditioned. It offers live band music on weekends. Like the Chicken Inasal of Nena's Beth, it is also flavorful and juicy. In fact their chicken is bigger than that of Nena's Beth. I also ordered their La Paz Batchoy which was somewhat disappointing because the soup is diluted and the serving is small. The waiters though are welcoming and efficient.

In Front Of Reclamation Area, Near Sm Mall, Located In The Center Bacolod City...famous In Grilled Chicken...
We were super busy the whole day so we were super hungry by dinner. From Lakawon to Ruins then to Manokan Country. There are a lot of food stalls available. So you just have to find the place with a good deal :) We ordered Isol, Paa, Petcho, Isaw and Atay/Puso. And of course a lot of rice and softdrinks that goes perfect with Inasal. It is super delicious!!! especially with Chicken oil :) The staff are very attentive! We super super love it! very very authentic Inasal compare to the Inasal we are used to in Manila.Highly recommended if you visit Bacolod. It is just across SM. .
