Sconyers is one of my favorite restaurants in Augusta. My favorite thing there is the hash. I usually order the BBQ plate with 2 servings of hash (no cole slaw or potato salad). However, I decided to try the chicken on this visit. It tasted good, but was dry and hard to swallow. My husband ordered chicken also and agreed with me about it.The hash as always was awesome! The service was also excellent. The ladies wear old fashioned dresses and that really adds to the feel of the restaurant.I ordered extra hash to go (as usual) so that I can enjoy it at home.

A few of us ate here after work on a Tuesday. When our food came out we were all surprised at the huge portions, but thatâs where things went downhill. One of us were missing our salad and another our broccoli. Once we sorted that out we started eating. The sides were very, very bland for everyone (broccoli and carrots). The meats lacked much sauce so we asked for wing and hit sauce. The ribs were just ok and some areas were pretty charred (more than typical edges that happens with ribs). The pulled pork was the best thing on the three meat plate, but it lacked much bbq sauce. Iâd say the bbq quality was one-Star at best. Our waitress was nice enough, but the service just wasnât very good. I wonât be back.

Nice lunch today, just drove by and saw the sign during lunchtime. I had the mini plate of Hawaiian Chicken with cucumber kimchi and a sweet roll on the side and Luau punch to drink. I'll definitely be back again soon, and probably take out for home too!

Found this place by accident, it was an adventure of I20 to find, but well worth the trip. We stopped for lunch and had wagyu sliders, tacos, and fish and chips. We also had appetizers of smoked wings and cheese balls. It was all excellent in taste and cooked to perfection. Must stop in Augusta..
