It is a bar along the sea, with live music and good drinks. The monitor is good. They also offer tapas which are good. Globally the price matches the food. The beers are a bit expensive. It is a very relax place.

This time i just had 15 hrs to spent in Xiaman and i rememberd JJ from an earlier visit. Still a great place with a host ( maybe he is called JJ ) who makes all your wishes possible. I am a vegetarian, so henadjusted his texmex food menu to my satisfaction.

Now called 'Hell' the bar/cafe/restaurant provides a welcome retreat in this lovely city of Xiamen. The wine choice is excellent and th downer is often on hand to help with decisions. There is always good food and we can't recommend it highly enough if you are looking for a chilled out time on this city

If you haven't been to this hotel I would definitely recommend it. Beautiful surroundings and staff are wonderful.Food is expertly cooked and delicious and the manager Ivy is just a pleasure and a joy to be round.Last of all the GM should be congratulated in keeping this place well run and needs a BIG pat on his back because it truly is impeccable and is worth 5 stars and above.

Visited QBA a total of 3 visits since opening. Sadly this visit on a Friday night left us wondering what exactly has happened ??? I'll keep this simple....The Executive chef has left the building and seemingly taken the QBA spirit and food quality with him. Appetizers poorly prepared and slow delivery. Entrees were sent back to the kitchen missing key ingredients advertized on the menu. Best part of the evening was the classic Mojito has survived the crash of the food& beverage service department. I did complain to the F&B replacement manager on duty and the food was removed from the bill without any hesitation. There is NO ENTERTAINMENT at this facility - which was one of the key points of going to QBA on a weekend evening. There is no mention of this situation upon being seated. Established and managed by an Indian, John; formerly a chef in a Shanghai 5-Star hotel Delectable food with a large variety of craft beers, vom fass.Perfect dining n rendezvous spot, alone or for group of friends to hangout with. We came here twice as the menu has many delicious dishes that you want to try. We had the German sausage with potato salad, sauerkraut and Spätzle. It was all very delicious! All with a sweet touch. In the second evening we had the Ray-bread with Hering, Zigeunerschnizel and the sour chicken soup. All very tasty. The atmosphere with the comfortable soundtrack is laid back.Dear Franziskaasia,Guests who are coming back to us is the best compliment we can get.
