We had a family gathering (8 of us) to have some Irish tavern food and enjoy the delightful sounds of the Whiskey Brothers. This is a happy place. The service was good even on a busy evening and the food was acceptable. We weren't expecting gourmet selections and the menu was interesting and pleasing. The music was the heart of the matter and was sensational. It creates a merry atmosphere for all to enjoy. There were young families, dating couples, and some pretty old dudes like myself all having a wonderful time. I highly recommend

Of all their business ventures, starting as the bagel boys, this is my favorite. It is quieter than the sports bars, and has more menu options. We enjoyed a nice family dinner, for a moderate price, in a relaxing yet interesting atmosphere. (Check out the ceilings and artwork) Service and facilities exceeded expectations. And the food? Well, we just put it on the "local favorites" list.

One of Chicago's best places for German dining, coupled with a beer selection that is truly second to none. Rated one of the fifty best "Beer Restaurants" in the world by RateBeer and "Best Beer Bar in America" by USAToday's 10Best for 2017. We feature 39
I get back to Lisle frequently and head here for a good meal without stress. The menu is easy to read and the entrees provide good variety. The sides are tasty and serve well to complement the main course. I never quite leave enough for dessert, but a great beer always slakes my appettite.

I have no idea why this place is packed... Busy, loud and very pricey for frozen food. The severs have allot of energy pushing everything on the menu. We had pretzel app, boneless wings and wedges. Wedges were cold when I complained they said they would get me new ones never happened. The wings are the wings and with soft drinks our bill was $50. Do yourself a favor go to wing stop with fresh homemade fries and you will pay less, it's not as loud!

I am a frequent patron of various Chili's restaurants because my son has severe food allergies. Specifically, he is allergic to milk, eggs, beef, butter, nuts and fish. But by some miracle, none of those things are in Chili's original BBQ ribs. He can't have any other of the sides except for mandarin oranges, so we get him two servings of that. Furthermore, he can have none of the appetizers with the exception of the chips and salsa and believe me, he eats an full serving of it each time we go. We've never had a mishap at a Chili's one single time and for that, they will have my undying business. The service is typically solid no matter where we go. But for some reason, my entire family has noticed that the tortilla chips that they make at the location at 75th Street and Lemont Road in Downers Grove are 100% of the time OVER cooked. Both the color, the flavor and the texture of the chips are different from EVERY OTHER location that we have been to (about 20, nationally over the years). I guess I never really thought about it until last night when he said something about it and I have to agree.....the tortilla chips are both excessively greasy and overcooked....but ONLY at this location. It's probably just us being ridiculous since we have nothing but good things to say about Chili's in general since a couple things are friendly to my son. But this one thing alone takes this particular location down from VERY GOOD overall to a little bit less than that.

The place is really cool. Had a fabulous long lunch with the husband before going to see a movie. He ordered a beer which was excellent and I ordered a glass of Chardonnay. Upon checking reviews we saw that others recommended the pig wings...... fabulous and deviled Scotch egg......amazing. We also split a fennel sausage pizza ( Neapolitan style) which was just ok. Needed some herbs or extra flavor. All in all a great place. Modern decor with the brew tanks on show, shuffle board, lots of seating (high tops, standard tables and bar seating) an eclectic menu all cooked from scratch so you canât be in a hurry or pop in for a quick bite. Our server Gabrielle was excellent and friendly. Our only issue, and our fault for not noticing was the price of the wine. $12 for a really small glass!!!!! What...... are we in the city???? The cocktails were only $10 each. Looked up the wine and you can buy a bottle at Binnyâs for less than $20.

BBQ, Cajun & Southern Cuisine. Serving breakfast on the weekends only; Over 120 Craft beers with 31 on tap! We do carry-out, delivery, catering, in-house parties, and banquets.
Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe is located in the same building as the Chateau Orleans banquet hall. We attended a memorial luncheon for a co-worker and found that the luncheon menu was directly from Chuck's Southern Comfort Cafe. For Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe there is an outdoor patio that is shaded that fronts on Cass Ave. As you walk in to the main entrance, if you go to the left you are in the banquet hall, but if you go to the right, you are in Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe. We started with soup and salad. We had browned chicken, pulled pork and mashed potatoes. The chicken was tender, as was the pulled pork. Really good for a catered luncheon. The staff was pleasant and efficient. Though we have been to the other Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe in Burban, this Darien location is a bit closer, so I'm sure that we'll be back.

First time visiting a Teds. I saw the reviews and maybe my expectation were a little high. A party of 3 we ordered salads with our meals and I order a Bison NY Strip steak. We asked for the salads first, but the meal came out first, so we canceled the salads. My steak was cooked they way I like it but was tough and it wasn't seasoned that I could tell. One of the other members of the party ordered the same steak and he said it was really good. Overall just OKKen, we're sorry to hear we didn't leave the best impression after your recent visit. We value your feedback and hope to deliver a five-star dining experience next time you choose Ted's!

My family has always loved the unique burger combinations that Shanahan's offers, and if you happen to visit them on a Monday, all burgers are $5.00. How can you beat that!! The service is always friendly and families can enjoy their meal in the front room, leaving the bar area for other patrons. Also, I have attended an office function there and the food was amazing - especially their chicken.

Dear Managment please take our experience into consideration and make some changes. Our visit today was really not how it was before. You will remember places on how they made you feel and AFTER VISITING YOUR RESTAURANT TODAY WE FELT UNWANTED, ASHAMED AND UNCOMFORTABLE.We came to celebrate birthday party. Food was okey but not as it was before. However, we could have closed our eyes on food, if the stuff would not be absolutely disrespectfull and made us feel unwanted. The story is - they had a life music and only a few people siting on the side tables in the main hall. Our company of 15 people of married couples and couples with childern came out to dance. But there was not much space and we moved empty table maybe one meter aside and were keep dancing. In a minute security man came and without saying anything STARTED PUSHING TABLE BACK ON US! We asked our waiter but he backed up security man and said that tables are not allowed to be moved (the HALL IS EMPTY, just a few people on the side tables and at the bar!). SINGER STOPED SINGING and we were standing there shocked!!! We asked for manager, nobody came out...PLEASE UNDERSTAND, WE DID NOT MAKE ANYBODY UNCOMFORTABLE, even a few other people stand up and start dancing with us. We just wanted to celebrate Birthday, dance and had a good food. Unfortunately, we GOT NOTHING out of this list. If you want to came to this place, please be advised that stuff's attitude can ruin your evening if they will not change. We are terribly sorry for your last night's experience with us. We wish you a happy birthday and many years to come! Regarding your dancing experience:- unfortunately, at this point in time, we are not allowed by the laws of Downers Grove to change the layout of our dining room and we can not accommodate the room for dancing, regardless of where is it a busy night or an empty house. We do have a request pending in the CIty which needs to be approved by the mayor that will allow us to accommodate the place for dancing in the near future. - however, we are going to take action regarding our staff unresponsiveness!- we are going to take action regarding better communication between our security and our customers! Once again we apologize for our service last night and we hope to see you again when we will have availability to accommodate a dancing guest in a large dance floor.
