We have been coming to Chicken Run for over 5 years since we started frequenting the Windham, Catskill area. We have enjoyed dine-in experiences as well as take out. The food is always great as well as the service and hospitality. The outside dining/lounging area is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Thereâs something for everyone outside. Itâs also perfect for just lounging by the fire to keep warm or toasting sâmores. We love it so much that we decided to have our wedding reception there. We had a small outdoor, country wedding on a mountaintop a few towns over in Prattsville. Having our reception at Chicken Run was the perfect way to celebrate with our families. Right from the beginning Cathy, the manager put our minds at ease and handled all of the details for us. She was also so helpful in giving us multiple recommendations for outside services such as flowers, wedding cake etc. We couldnât have done it without her! We also had the pleasure of having our favorite server, Melanie accommodate us throughout our reception. She was truly amazing!They both made sure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed! All of our guests had an amazing time and enjoyed the food. Staying virtually across the street at Beds on Clouds, my wife and I strolled into the Prime Steakhouse. Great choice!Starting by sharing apps, I chose a special, a portobello mushroom stuffed with crabmeat and topped with melted mozzarella. Outstanding! My wife chose fresh tomato with fresh mozzarella and balsamic dressing. All was very fresh. The salads were nice sized, fresh ingredients and my Golden Italian dressing was very good For entrees, I had sole stuffed with crabmeat and my wife stuffed shrimp. Both were excellent. Our server, Julia was very pleasant and helpful. She offered us quite a few specials and while it seems unusual to go to a steakhouse and order fish, we enjoyed our meals and will definitely return if our travels bring us back to Windham. There were plenty of additional choices that would be nice to try.

Although local I had never eaten here. A planned gathering of friends grew to a group of 16. A Wednesday evening, not overly busy, we were seated in an area by ourselves. Pleasant and inviting atmosphere, outside seating available, friendly and efficient service. We were initially greeted by the manager, Jared. While we waited for all of our party to arrive he took our orders for drinks and appetizers. Surprisingly, noting the composition of the group, he offered to split the check for us, a courtesy seldom offered. Overall we ordered a variety of appetizers, drinks, meals and desserts, I heard no complaints. Being Wednesday it was âbuy one, get oneâ one the Tex-Mex menu, an offer a few couldnât resist giving us dinner and takeout for lunch for tomorrow. Complaints..... while the manager was very accommodating by offering split checks, our server seemed less than thrilled and apparently the kitchen even more so. Our 16 dinners were served slowly, with a couple of corrected errors, over an excruciating long period. By the time the last was served the first was long since done with their dinner. Overall a pleasant outing with friends, meal quantity and quality was very good and the value was exceptional. Iâm sure we will return. Thank you! So glad you enjoyed your time with us. I work in Windham and have to dine in the local restaurants. O'Connors is a welcome change from the plentiful pizza and diner offerings. The basic pub menu but with something for everyone. I've yet to get past the basic cheeseburger and fries which make it a destination for many. Always have had friendly and efficient service and prices are very reasonable.
