Formerly Tristate Electrical Supply, the building was a quintessential landmark of the Hagerstown Commercial Core Historic District. During late 19th century, Downtown Hagerstown became the leading producer of furniture, organs and other products. This ec
Still one of my favorite restaurants in the Hagerstown area. They didn't disappoint on this list either. Lovely setting, clean, wait staff pleasant, service excellent. What more can I say? Oh! Food exceptional. Next time I am up from Florida, I will visit again. Public garage parking is convenient at a reasonable price. Food prices are average for a good restaurant..

WOW! Went to this establishment for my dads 84th Birthday dinner. We were told how good the food was. All but good! Also, my dads fish was definitely spoiled and they would have known this, when preparing it. Everyone at the table received their food COLD. The coffee was even cold. I would not recommend this place.

Our waiter could not have been nicer! The brunch menu looked good on paper, but when the food came, the âhome friesâ were actually deep fried potatoes, basically French fries cut into squares! The spinach and cheese in my omelette was sparse. The mimosa was orange juice with splash of champagne, it should be the other way around! The lettuce in my salad seemed wilted, how do you mess up a salad? Love their atmosphere, but wonât be back for breakfast! Maybe, maybe try lunch, or dinner. Maybe not!

For a small city, Hagerstown can boast of many excellent eating places. Recently tried Hempen Hill. Service was fine, if a bit eccentric. The fare was excellent. Would have to comment on the first-class quality of the meat used in our entrees- very impressive.. Would have to add that all the clientele seemed very happy to be here-a great atmosphere.

Went for a weekend lunch. It wasn't busy. Menu was about the same as many other chain restaurants. I got a grilled chicken salad and my mom got a steak. She said that her sirloin wasn't bad but mine had no flavor at all. I'm not sure if there was any dressing on it so I asked for some ranch. There was supposed to be corn and black beans on it but I had to search for it. Chicken was so bland. Waitress was good - very nice and fast. I won't be back again - $30 for this meal was not worth it.

We visited this Red Robin twice during our stay in Hagerstown. The service was excellent both times. On our second visit we were originally seated near a family with a crying baby so we requested to be moved and we were moved instantly. The family with the baby were very inconsiderate of other diners as not everyone enjoys listening to that all the time they are eating. Many other Red Robins appear to have gone downhill with food not being up to standard, but this particular store still had excellent food and wonderful staff during our visits. Highly recommend this store, Our server on the second visit understood when my husband told him to keep the fries coming when we placed our original order. He brought us a basket of fries straight away before our meals were even ready. Loved that! My husband is the burger eater and he thoroughly enjoyed the sauteed mushroom burger here, He has not always enjoyed that particular burger elsewhere so he was pleased this trip

What is the definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I will not claim to be insane but the staff at this restaurant may fit into this situation. I work a strange shift and only four hours in the evening and that's it. Sometimes my wife and I are gone during the day and do not have time to prepare supper before we leave in the morning (that may change very soon) So my wife and I have finished shopping for organic food in Frederick, MD and the time is about 3:15 so I tell her to order some wings from bbw and that Tuesday is half price wings day. So she calls and places the order (I will not put what our order is on this review because they can see it but I did lodge what happened on bbwlistens. The order was incorrect. Now I don't want to order from the location in Frederick either because that location is just as bad. But message me and I'll let you know what the order was, but the order was simple so simple a caveman could do it. So when I get home from my shift I see my order was not prepared correctly and I asked my wife and neither was her's. So I called them and asked to speak to a manager and Kenny the manage got on the phone I had to explain at least two or more times what was wrong with the order. Kenny asked if I wanted to come back for a whole new order and I tell him that I would not. So Kenny says he will send gift cards to me and states I will receive Friday. Well it's Friday as I am writing this post and nothing has shown. I will be making a call back or visiting this location if they do not arrive tomorrow . I need to find a better wing that dry rubs their wings or just buy their rub and do it myself for now on.

Located in the Ramada Plaza Hotel at the same address. 301-733-4800
My husband and I were staying at the Ramada Plaza in Hagerstown, as we have done many times in the past, and chose to have dinner in this adjacent restaurant. We had had a perfectly miserable day of travel up from Virginia, dealing with torrential rain, fog, and traffic. By the time we got to Hagerstown, we were exhausted and our nerves were frayed. The restaurant was crowded due to construction and short staffing. Fortunately we decided to eat in the bar and came across Brandi, the most wonderful server! Brandi was upbeat, welcoming and infinitely patient. She was slammed herself, but she took the time to discuss wines with us, as well as the menu. She managed to keep everyone in the bar area well served with timeliness and good humor. We are retired and spend many weeks a year traveling and eating in restaurants. Brandi was a server who made a tremendous impression on us and who we will remember for a long time with smiles and gratitude.

Long-running Pittsburgh-born chain known for sandwiches piled high with coleslaw & french fries.
We have eaten at the Pittsburgh location several times and were happy to see them closer to VA. They need work. The whole deal here is the slaw and fries on your sandwich. I had 3 small fries on mine and my wife had none. The bread is very good, the pastrami is piled high, but this is a disgrace to the chain. We've watched Toni in Burgh several times grab a large handful of fries while making sandwiches. Guess we'll drive the extra couple of hours and get the real thing.Hi there,Thanks for the feedback about this particular location. Getting you the best Primanti Bros. food and customer service is our priority. Could you please email your name, contact information, and a link to this review to [email protected] so that we can work to correct this?

Our family of eight stopped here for dinner on our way through town. Selected Rikâs due to the great TripAdvisor reviews and a previous excellent stop numerous years ago. Unfortunately, we were generally disappointed this time.Staff was very nice and accommodating, and we were promptly seated and ongoing service was very good. However, the food was hit-and-miss. The Southwest Reuben was very good, the sweet potato fries were excellent, but the beet/pear salad was very disappointing. The waiter did replace it with a Cobb salad, which is actually much closer to a wedge salad. Pasta dish was very lack-luster, but several other dinner choices were good. All in all, our expectations were much greater than was delivered on this occasion.
