Our first and last time going to Benny. We're locals and love going to breweries (we'll travel to find great breweries). We frequent Breaker Brewing and Susquehanna Brewing and have had Benny Brewing beers while out, but have never been to their actual location. We arrived on Saturday around 7pm. I called ahead to see if they take reservations, but they do not. That is a plus of Breaker Brewing (you can make reservations by calling or online and their food is awesome). When we walked in we were told the wait would be 25-30 minutes. That turned into 45 minutes of standing in the same spot and waiting. There is nowhere to sit and relax if you're waiting for a table. Just stand near the entrance and bathroom so you're constantly in the way. I heard other couples complaining about the same thing. If a seat opens up at the bar don't even try to go for it. There are others keeping a watch for people paying their bills so they can jump in. I did think about it, but it totally wasn't worth the fight. When a table did finally open up it was a 6 seater and there were only two of us. So we were told if we wanted that table it would be considered a 'community table' since they can seat another couple with us. Umm.. no. That's super weird and we weren't going to sit with another couple. So again, we had to wait while someone with just 3 people got that table. When we finally did get seated our server was quick and attentive. There was a 4 seater table right next to us with about 5 other people standing around it so that blocked our view from anything but their backs. They were waiting for a larger table to open up so they could all sit together. It was almost like they were waiting for us to leave so they could combine our tables. Again, really annoying. You would think they would make people wait elsewhere since we waited so damn long for a table. The food was fine. My boyfriend got the brisket and I had the nachos, but got them without the pulled pork. We each tried two beers. When we got to the car I immediately felt sick and had to throw up. I don't know what happened, but it was horrible. It had to have been the nachos. The cheese did taste weird and was just that processed goopy stuff. So needless to say it's a once and done place for us. Never again. I would never even suggest anyone go there. We don't understand why they are so busy because there are so many other awesome non-chain places to visit. Two stars just because the server was good once we were finally seated.

I ordered take out while in town on business. I had the St. Louis ribs and sliced chicken, both excellent. The loaded mashed potatoes side was also very good. Definitely one of the better BBQ establishments I've eaten at recently.Hi Josephh00, thank you so much for your positive comments about Smokey Bones! We do hope we can be of assistance in the future. Take care!

We were visiting to watch The Lords of 52nd Street at the F.M. Kirby Centre, conveniently situated just next door. We'd already eaten so it was just drinks (before and after the show). I was drinking the Yards IPA, she was on the Raspberry cocktail. Both went down well, again and again. We were with a group so didn't really speak to any of the customers but they seemed a good bunch, as were the bartenders who looked after us. They smoke in the bar which I don't really like but there were only a few who did and it didn't spoil our enjoyment. We were last to leave at 2am. That says it all really.

I'm glad we had a reservation for five on a Tuesday evening because the place was packed. The Tuesday special is two dinners and an appetizer for only $25. Friendly service, large food selections, big portions, and a great value. Nice craft beer list.

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, "to meet Pan Am stewardesses." Sud
Highly Recommended. We were in town for a business meeting and staying at the Fairfield Marriott next door. Everything that we had was delicious, reasonably priced, with excellent service. This is a busy restaurant. Our Waiter was Joseph, who was friendly, efficient, fast, well organized, and highly knowledgeable.

We just love this place, the great experience starts when greeted at the front door by friendly smiling people , once seated the great experience continues with prompt service from the also smiling and friendly wait staff to take our drink order from a huge selection of beers and specialty mixed drinks and then it's time to order the appetizers and they are just out of this world with the captain crunch chicken and coconut shrimp being my favorites but after that just when you think it can't get any better comes a huge selection of great dinner and burger choices which takes me a while to decide because everything in this place is always so fresh and tasty that the only problem that we have ever encountered has been deciding what we want but in the end we always know that whatever we order will be served hot and fresh by a great bunch of wait staff and it all tastes great. I made myself hungry just writing this so it will be off to the arena tonight for a great meal in a great friendly atmosphere.

Truly a hidden gem. Found on TripAdvisor we just moved to the area. The fig flatbread was delicious, I had the filet with Gouda crab sauce best steak I ever had. My girlfriends all enjoyed there meals. Fun martini and cocktail list. When my girls return to Wilkes Barre they already are making plans to return.

We are the official Microbrewery/BrewPub of Northeast PA's coal region. Our craft brews are dedicated to the hard working people who have been and still are examples of our rich heritage.
Food is excellent, large portions you can definitely share. Sides are generous. Beer is tasty, frosty, large variety. For some reason they just donât seem to get great servers. Constant different servers coming to your table, and you wait considerably for anything extra (napkins, water, extra dressing). That is my only negative. Suggestion: open Sunday so customers can enjoy your patio/close Mondays!
