The music on a Sunday night is good fun. It kicks off quite late (about 11pm) but is good for a bit of fun. The beers on draught are ordinary, the Guinness some say is 'poison' so opt for the bottled drinks if you can! The staff are on the ball with service and clean up, very attentive. The owner is very welcoming and seems to make an effort to keep everyone happy, however his son has a tendency to frequent the bar and often makes some derogatory remarks to patrons. The wheel of fortune is done each Saturday where patrons have a chance to win $50+ cash depending on if someone won the week before. It is a great way to get everyone involved and a good bit of fun.

I visited The Bridge Tavern yesterday with my family. We sat at the large window in the bar. We ordered from the menu. Lunch arrived. My daughter ordered a âham and cheese toastieâ with chips. It was a very basic toastie that arrived with a few chips on the side. They charged â¬9 for this. I ordered the goats cheese salad. A lot of the lettuce was dark and slimy so I didnât eat it. I complained about it to a very young looking lounge girl and asked her to say it to the chef. She said âsorryâ and then moments later brought us the bill and didnât mention the salad again. I paid â¬10 for a salad I didnât eat because the lettuce was gone off! Very dissatisfied customer :(Hi HazzerWicklow, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We are disappointed to learn that you were left disappointed on your last visit to The Bridge Tavern, this is not the standards we expect to achieve. Your feedback has been passed on to the Head Chef & he will review accordingly. We have sent you a PM to discuss the matter further. We hope to hear from you & see you again in the future.

The pub had great atmosphere and a good selection of beer. The food was the best we have had in Ireland. The Guinness stew was exceptional. If you are in the area this is a must stop.
