Stopped while on the train. Were seated and sat for 10 minutes. We were really looking forward to trying it out, unfortunately we didn't stay because on this particular day we were pressed for time and decided to eat elsewhere and do some shopping and walking. Plan carefully id you're taking the train.

Excellent seafood, considering you are in mountains of North Carolina. Our meals of raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, catfish, fried shrimp and peel and eat shrimp were outstanding, not to mention the hush-puppies. Angelica was our waitress and she was super. I don't think you would be disappointed eating here.

I donât usually take the time to write reviews but this place was so bad I feel I need too. The staff seemed troubled to have to do their jobs. Our daughterâs food came ten minutes earlier than ours. Mine arrived cold and with disgusting tomatoes. See attached photo. Donât waste your time going here. There are many more wonderful places in town to eat.

The place was full of contradiction. We had lunch there in the early afternoon. We were seated outside and the environment is nice there, to start with. The menu is sufficient and traditional. The food was ok. However, the service was kind of strange. It took time, it was not clear who is serving us. Some mistakes have been made. It seemed to us that the staff was in chaos - or siesta. All in all a medium experience

Asheville has nothing on this place. We thoroughly enjoyed a few local brews in the afternoon on an outside covered deck overlooking a small river. The bartender was helpful in steering us to something she thought that we would like. Very laid back place. Parking is not good. NOTE: I rated the food excellent even though there is none since Tripadvisor would not have allowed a rating but do not serve food at this establishment. There is an adjoining food truck (Cosmic) where you can get short orders and a pizza place in the same building.

We were provided a free meal as part of the charity event. The venue provided hamburgers/hotdogs and fixings. Food was very good. They serve drinks and have a stage for live performances. We enjoyed it, however, the music is very loud. So don't come here to relax.

My husband & I sat out by the river and ate our dinner. VERY nice atmosphere, and the food was exceptional!! I had a burger topped with jalapeño pimento cheese and my husband had their signature 1101 Smokehouse burger. Everything was first class! Service was great. The waitress was friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. We will be back. Next time I want to try the ribeye. Yumm. Thank you for your review.

We showed up with a group of 8 for dinner approximately 2 hours prior to closing and were turned away due to us having a large group. I could understand having a wait, but to turn away business is not a good way to run your business.We are sorry you did not have the opportunity to dine with us. Unfortunately, on busy nights when our reservations are fully booked we have no choice but to stop seating, We strive to be the #1 steakhouse in the North Carolina Mountains.
