It often isn't easy to find gluten-free and vegan options in a sports bar restaurant. If that's your problem, Legends 1291 is your solution. They have several, varied items on that menu. The servers were wicked friendly and took an interest in chatting with us. The place can be loud, as there are video games and kids galore. It's located in Town Square near the shops and Nordic Center.

Pub style Restaurant in the heart of Waterville Valley

We ate here twice during our stay mainly because it was the only pub type place open tthat I could walk to with the grandkids.. With that said, the first night the service was slow and the food was okay. The second night the service was great and food much better so perhaps the cook wasn't around the first night! The prices are high for what you get but to be expected as they have a captive audience. If I stay in the Valley again I would go again hoping the good cook was working.

We went there a couple of Saturdays ago. THE WORST NACHOS we have ever had along with this the most rubbery chicken wings. The nachos were a bucket of tortilla chips covered in melted cheese wiz, no taste no flavor no originality. The chicken wings were not crisp but rubbery, thank god they were cooked. And to top it off, all over priced...Hi Dave,Sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience at Buckets, though I'm pleased that you did like the atmosphere and the service was good. We'll always continue to improve on the product we provide our guests so all feedback is welcome. Great hot chocolate and awesome waffle fries! We really enjoyed the break from skiing at T-Bars. Family enjoyed good food in a nice atmosphere.Thanks James! We're glad the cocoa was big enough for you! Come back soon!
