We recently tried O'Hara's in Newton, MA. Drinks were good, food was average (salmon we had was overcooked and dry), service was good, and prices were reasonable. The atmosphere, friendly patrons, good bar service, and drinks are the things to bring you here. Thanks for the review! I am sorry to hear about the salmon, if there is every an issue with your meal, please always let us know while you are dining with us so we can be sure to make it right for you! Hope to see you in again soon :)

What's to say about the Halfway Cafe? It's ordinary. Food was ordinary. Setting was ordinary. Staff was ordinary. Nothing stands out to me that was other than ordinary. One thing, however, that bears mentioning...the loudness of the place. It's a small space and with at least15 TVs and a loud radio blaring...well you get the picture...way too loud for me.

Solea offers diners a taste of the culinary heritage of Spain right in the heart of Moody Street. Since opening our doors in 2001, weâve made it our mission to give the Greater Boston Area a reason to look forward to sunset every day of the week. We striv
It is a beautiful restaurant in a very cool part of town. Normally we love tapas but they dropped the ball. The flavors overall were good but the service was terrible. They were extremely slow and haphazardly brought out our dishes. I wouldnât recommend.

We had a great dinner at the bar. Great service and plenty of room. We had a couple of local craft beers (they also had a nice wine selection): started with calamari appetizer and continued with a Tuna BLT and a lobster roll. Great atmosphere

I was looking for a different place with West in its name but I was in the wrong town. My wife and I decided to eat and were glad we did.We both enjoyed our meals, a sweet potato encrusted cod, and a wonderful chicken and eggplant sandwich. The atmosphere was comfy and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Seemingly in the middle of nowhere, Watertown, Ritcey East is my new fave. The food is delicious (and gluten-free friendly with knowledgable staff), and the cocktails are inventive. Try the buffalo wings (GF folks: the batter is rice flour) and the brussels and bacon app (sans breadcrumbs). It's only been two days since my visit and I'm already having cravings for both. They also happen to play great music. I'm eager to make this a regular spot and want to spread the word for fear it's "hidden" location might work against it. Ritcey East is the jam. Tell all ya friends!

Excellent food, service, atmosphere at an average price is found at the Stockyard. My husband and I stopped for lunch and were seated promptly. He ordered a French dip sandwich which came with steak fries and I the salmon burger. He was pleased as was I. The salmon burger was hot, juicy and spiced perfectly. It was absolutely the best ever. My only criticism was the salad served alongside. It was a chopped salad Pre-dressed. It was large and used half the plate. The plate was wary so it wilted quickly. Next time I will request another side. The service was A+, bathrooms are clean and spacious and parking easy. We will return and recommend.

Typical bar food for the most part. It was our last meal while in Boston and I was in need of simple meal from all the over-indulgence of the day's prior. Ordered a tuna salad sandwich reluctantly as most the menu was greasy food options. I forgot that Boston gets some of the freshest sea food. The tuna was great. Really hit the spot. It was a busy night so I imagine the rest of the menu may have surprised me as well. Give it a try, especially if you're staying at the Crowne Plaza in Newton and need a quiet meal without going far.

I went with a group of about 10. Food was very good. I had the Wild Boar pasta. It was a Tuesday night and I was surprised at how busy it was. Even with a large group they did a nice job serving us, albeit the food did take a while to come. Good food. I'd recommend but don't go if you are in a hurry.

Usually my Monday spot for 1$ oysters and shrimps (thatâs the only time they serve them so theyâre not old or anything!) - I highly recommend their quesadilla and soups as well! While the food is good, itâs the service that really keeps me coming back here. All waiters and waitresses are very friendly and helpful! I am glad that you have always enjoyed dining with us and even happier that you have had great service. See you next Monday!
