We met our daughter and son-in-law and granddaughter (there to have a nice Sunday afternoon together. Unfortunately the server seemed annoyed we were there...and didnât want to answer questions. The food was good. Again, when it was time to leave, we had to track him down to get our bill.

Awesome decorated with mostly racing of some sort. Lots of TV's. Dawna was our very friendly and efficient waitress. I had buffalo chicken salad which was great with blue cheese. Wife had chicken sandwich which she thought was just OK. Manager came around, sat down and chatted a few then came back later to check on us. Pretty busy for a Saturday lunch time with race weekend. We will go back.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and so glad we did. The food is great. Wings are cooked perfect. Steak hoagies are great too. It's a family restaurant with the emphasis on family. A lot of young children running around without supervision. Not the restaurant fault just parents not watching their kids. Been there three times and happened each time. Maybe next time will sit in bar area to avoid this.

It is so nice to see a local restaurant, in the sea of chain restaurant establishments. We've visited Bluegrass a few times, and while their menu selection is really nothing to write home about (lacks great variety). Other than the burgers (which I very rarely, almost never order a burger out) there is not much that has enticed my taste buds, but I must say their burgers are tasty. I have had the "Daniel Boone" (I believe) which was great. Prepare for more burger than you can eat and can barely wrap your mouth around. It definitely did not leave me hungry.The decor is very fun with a lot of Kentucky flare, which I very much appreciate. The booths are burlap covered, and feel like they are filled with straw. I am not a fan as they sit so low you can barely reach the table. On one occasion, the waitress pretty much just sat down with us at dinner, they weren't busy, but can you say "awkward".

The food is good but the last few times, the kitchen and wait staff leave a lot to be desired. Over the last few times, I ask for âno mayoâ on a sandwich and they bring it with Mayo. Then they agree to remake it and forget to bring the sandwich out while the rest of my family has there food and is eating.There are so many restaurants out there with great food and service. Service was very slow, food was average at best. Seeemd like we waited forever once we gave our order amd it was not very but at all. Needless to say we will not be go8ng back. This is a restaurant that serves down-home food with a twist. And what an incredible list of twists they have. Their fried green tomatoes, for instance, are served with onion-bacon jam, scallions and house-made remoulade. Their Spicy Battered Pickle Fries with sriracha ranch are the best I have ever had.Made-to-order mac & cheese is their specialty, and we were not disappointed. The Leonardo da Pinchi was loaded with fresh lump crab, shaved Vermont white cheddar, cheddar jack, fresh tomatoes and scallions. I couldn't eat it all, and took the leftovers home. The names are also entertaining. Next time I'm going to try the Chris P. Bacon mac & cheese.Plus, they offer a full assortment of entrees, sandwiches, burgers, salads and sides that I am dying to try. I did save room for a homemade dessert â bread pudding prepared according to a daily theme.The restaurant isn't as big as its reputation so you should probably look for odd times to eat, if possible. You'll be glad you did.

Even though it is a sports bar the ambiance was appropriate for children. Try the strawberry and chicken salad. It is a healthy and delicious option among the typical bar fare. We found the prices to be extremely reasonable.After being in the car all day it was nice to be able to walk over from the Holiday Inn.
