Bluewater Lodge Restaurant Located off of the Paul Bunyan snowmobile trail and have docking available for your boat visits. Open every day from 11:30am - 9:00pm. We feature a full bar, happy hour, and seasonal specials.
Been here twice now. It's a small little bar/restaurant that's part of the Bluewater Lodge Resort. Had the Rachel the first time I was in and shared app platters the second time. A little heavy on fried foods, but the Rachel was good! The really great part is that they have local beer on tap which is the reason I stopped in the first place. The second reason is, it's close to home and FAR better than the joint near the casino. Then menu is small and I'd like to see a couple healthier options, but maybe in time. :) I'll be back for sure. It would be great to boat in, I'm not sure if that's any option they have or not.

Ended up with their top two entrees...both were just OK. Super nice bar with large outdoor space (for a nice day).Casino inside the building (yes, Native Americans here!). Also good spot to watch sports on a rainy day.

We had a group of 20 hungry snowmobiliers on a Friday night and were looking for a place with enough seating and variety for our large group. I called Charlie's and with about 30 minutes notice, they had everything set up for us. Great soup and salad bar as well as overall menu. Service was just the right pace and everyone left stuffed. Will definitely stop again.
Lucky to have been here on 3rd Friday of the month and their monthly fish fry. Minimal coating on large filets, and included cole slaw, fries, and option for grits. Included tea or lemonade.

Eat. Drink. Play. While on vacation, relax with a great view and enjoy our family-friendly menu. Deck dining with a great view of the dock and lake is also available.
Outside sitting and weather was great. Live music was so-so. Wait staff was good and knowledgeable. Food was average. The shore lunch walleye was not what I expected. Salad bar was small and bland. Homemade soup was good. The other main dishes were average. Menu needs adjusting to merit my return.Larry, Thank you for your honest review of The Merit. We take food & our customers seriously. We will review your comments with our managers and staff. We hope to see you again soon.

Had fish tacos. Fish was over cooked, slaw was old, beans were straight from a can, and diced tomatoes. Came with chips in a basket with no liner. Very over priced for what I received. The look of the place gives you a very different impression than what you receive.Service was not good. Came in At 1:00pm Very few people in there. Took forever because server was busy chatting with others. No one in my party was impressed with there food either. Table next to us was upset with service and left with plates still full of food.

Weâve stopped into this place quite often for lunch lately. Good, fast service, reasonable prices & great food. Our favorite items are the cheesesteak sandwich, fish tacos, green chili, grilled chicken salad, pretzels & cold beer. I love that they use crisp lettuce & I have yet to see a white tomato like many places we go : ). Nostalgic feel inside like a local bar usually has. Definitely recommend this place.

The 502 Restaurant side has an open kitchen that letâs you see and smell the wonderful dishes that are being prepared by our chef, helping you (or making it more difficult) decide what option is the best to dazzle your tastebuds. Enjoy an elegant dining e
With such a beautiful setting for an outdoor restaurant overlooking fabulous Leech Lake it is very sad that the management/owners allow such a filthy venue especially with their outside seating. The food service was terrible from getting seated through the entire dinner service. The hot dishes were served cold with the entire meal being terrible. Some family members were having their first wedding anniversary dinner and were appalled. Walker can sure do much better than this.

You cannot miss going to Benson's when you're in north central Minnesota. They have the best pizza around. This trip we made it to Benson's twice. We highly recommend the Minnesota Island but we have had several types of pizzas and they are all good. See you next year Bensons!
