Nice location in the centre that offers typical food and biological cold cuts like Parma ham and great cheeses...there's also a big choice of tapas and some nice hot dishes for lunch. Shabby and cosy ambience for people who want to spend some nice time in

Visited after reading numerous reviews. Medium platter of meats and cheese was perfect for two.... Although a bit more cheese maybe and more types? â .Opted for dark beers which were delicious. Very chilled atmosphere. Great surroundings. Only four stars as service could have been a bit more 'on the ball'. Our food was sitting waiting to be bought to us for a while by which time the bread was drying out. We should have complained but were starving so we scoffed it! The pickled veg served with the platter was lovely. We'll definitely come back on another visit to Verona.

Total Tourist trap! Tried to steal money from us over 5 times, from bringing us the wrong wine without saying anything (a cheaper wine when we ordered a more expensive bottle and then CHARGING us for the bottle we originally ordered) to charging us for tap water and âforgettingâ to give us the discount we had with our reservation. When we pointed out the inaccuracies on the check the waiter grabbed it quickly, said âi knowâ and ran away before giving us yet another inaccurate check... The owner finally came out of the restaurant only to aggressively grab me by the arm and threaten to slap me... go anywhere but here. So sad because I was looking forward to a nice dinner in a beautiful city.

When I return to Verona I'm definitely going back to this place, Caffe Al Teatro. The food was gorgeous, absolutely delicious. the waiters were pleasant & helpful. Such a lovely atmosphere, sitting outside soaking up fabulous Verona before our visit to the ballet at the Verona Arena.
