Adorable, cosy place. Beautiful park across the street and very local feel. Wonderful wine choices and good menu. Super friendly wait staff. Only suggestion is a few more low calorie choices , save the calories for the wine! And highchairs would be wonderful, yes its a wine bar but we like to stop by early, have a snack and a drink and have to push the stroller which takes alot of space inside.

A sleek St Louis basement gastro pub. Basso lies beneath the Restaurant at the Cheshire in Clayton
My wife and I wanted to return for dinner to the Cheshire Restaurant (Boundary) but it was booked. Since they had the two other options (Fox & Hound or Basso), we looked at the menus and chose Basso. It was a very nice dinner with great service. It was a bit loud so that presented a few challenges. My wife ordered the steak. The portion wasn't exceptionally large but the flavor was excellent. (Odd - there was no side with it.) I ordered the margarita pizza and it was VERY good. Thanks for coming back to The Cheshire, Martin! Hope to see you again, soon!

Generally, Iâm not one for two-star reviews. Mostly because I try to choose wisely and do not have many experience warranting a so few stars. This was an exception. The food is simply too bad not to say something. I ordered a chicken and broccoli dish that came out with some type of congealed lemon sauce smothering itâsouthern biscuits and gravy smothered. The broccoli was cold and the mushrooms uncooked. Really. Not cooked at all. Another person at my table received a charred burger. The salad was a bowl of lettuce with one tomato wedge (which was the best part of the meal) and 1/2 a cup of shredded cheese on top.Although we were not there for the bar, it did look like they had a good selection of beer on tap. Our server was nice. And, the patio was nice. These features bumped the review from terrible to poor.

We had a very good experience dining at the 5 Star Burgers. We arrived toward the end of Happy Hour so it was pretty busy but it soon thinned out so we could get a table and get started with some really good angus burgers. We really appreciated that there was no antibiotics or growth hormones in the beef. We'll be back for more burgers and those sweet potato fries.

Blueberry Hill is a restaurant and music club filled with pop culture memorabilia. Weâre located in The Loop along the St. Louis Walk of Fame near the Moonrise Hotel.
Famous for Chuck Berry, the Father of Rock & Roll and first person inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Chuck Berry, inaugurated the Duck Room and played over 200 consecutive monthly concerts here. Today this a pretty unique venue to eat, drink and listen to live music. The atmosphere is amazing with what seems and endless amount of memrobilia filled rooms of all manner of collectables. We popped in for luch and sat in one of the booths. The staff are bvery friendly and our food arrived very quickly to the table.I expect it is a completely different vibe during the evenings but it is clear from what we saw that the place is considered to be a bit of a treasure.

Three Kings Public House is an independently owned restaurant established in 2011 in the Delmar Loop â now with 4 locations. We offer upscale global pub food with an emphasis on fresh ingredients, grown by local farmers in Missouri and Illinois. Sourcing
Visited for a late lunch, place was busy but no wait. We were seated and the staff was very courteous. We ordered the fried calamari which was a huge portion for an appetizer. We ordered 1/2 mufulleta sandwich ( you can get whole/half/quarter) and a seafood stew. It was quite bountiful and delicious. We took most of it home and had another dinner from it. I can't forget to mention the beers on tap and served at a perfect temperature. This is definitely a place to return for drink and/or dinner.

I really enjoyed having nightcaps with my friends at this place. You definitely feel like you're in a German pub or timber lodge or Masonic gathering or something. The couches are old and rustic, as well as the tables and the setting. The walls are adorned with "olde" stuff. It's my kind of place! The people there seem to be mostly of the more chilled out persuasion. Bartenders seem pretty chill and friendly. I had a cocktail that I think was called Aztec Gold, which was basically like a dessert drink, very tasty. Perfect end to the night! For a brief period of time, there was a live pianist and bassist playing some jazzy tones. A wee bit pricey if you're just getting basic drinks.. so go for an interesting cocktail or unique brew.

Providing delicious old-fashioned sodas and a great, family-friendly dining experience in the historic Delmar Loop. Open everyday at 11 a.m.
We do like stopping here. We were hoping a Tuesday afternoon after 1230 they would not be packed. Forgot schools in session and tourist season is slowing. Very good service from Danielle!Seated right away close to the bottling line. Unfortunately was not runningI knew I would have a root beer float. They are huge, ice cream is excellent and running over the sides of the glass. Never disappoints. They have other flavors we saw cream soda and orange. My wife had the fish tacos. Loaded with fish and other things served on soft tacos. Side was black beans and rice. There were also two diff side cups of sauce for the tacos. She thought this was very good.I ordered the turkey pastrami Reuben. Disappointing. The marble rye was good but the turkey pastrami was plain turkey fried on flat top and then had added cheese and very little kraut. Did not eat half of it nor did we take with us. My side was the slaw, just ok. We will go back and I will order diff food but always the root beer float.

Servin' up Mexi-Cali street food, craft cocktails and local beer in the Delmar Loop.
Could not get enough of this place. The tacos were creative, unique and delicious...as were the cocktails and house-made sodas. It was so good, we went back three times during the course of our stay. Interestingly, the waitstaff were always warm, friendly and helpful. But, the same cannot be said for the hostesses. On all three occasions, the hostesses (all different) confronted our party about "not following the rules." One got on to us for being seated outside by a waiter who was standing by the tables..."you have to come inside and see me first!", another told us we could not sit outside (though there were 4 picnic tables unoccupied) until we told here it was outside or gone, and the final one never showed up to the stand after almost 10 minutes and then got on to us for going outside to sit at one of the numerous unoccupied tables. But, don't let this deter you...because the food is incredible and once you get past the gatekeepers, the rest of the staff of amazingly friendly and accommodating. Since the interaction with the hostesses was a minimal part, I am giving 5 stars.
