Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Turku. Turku (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈturku] ( listen); Swedish: Åbo [ˈoːbʊ] ( listen)) is a city on the southwest coast of Finland at the mouth of the Aura River, in the region of Southwest Finland. Turku, as a town, was settled during the 13th century and founded most likely at the end of the 13th century, making it the oldest city in Finland. This is an English pub with English speaking gentleman behind the bar, which always surprises us Finns (why would anybody want to actually move to Finland to live here?). Good selection of drinks and beer. Wery artistic atmosphere as the Linnateatteri theater is just inside the same building, so lots of people stop by before and after the show each night. Quiant decor with different shapes and colors in furntiure. Famous Alvar Aalto original lights in the cealing - do check them out!

A little bit outside from Turku centrum, harbour. But easy to come with bus number 1, own car or take a nice walking next to Aurajoki river. Nice decoration, only toilets should be fix a little bit more like restaurant style.Food was tasty (Bremerhaven´s pork & Classic burger) and good size portion. My meal (pork) I would like to have more warmer and I thougt there was some vegetables (not). Smoked tomatodip was so good.Staff was friendly but a little bit waiting for food. Very nice place to drink or eat something before ferry´s. I´m gonna try lunch and brunch next time.

This use to be one of our favourite restaurants in Turku, if you are considering price vs.quality and I've been here several times with my wife and with our company. Unfortunately things have gone so bad last couple of times, that next time we will continue to somewhere else. Food has been bland and we have waited our mains surprisingly long. Last time was catastrophe. I ordered lamb fillet burger and when I got it, lamb fillets were room temperature. When I asked waiter this, she didn't apologize or anything. Just took it to kitchen, where chef brought it back moment later(again without "sorry" or anything). Still it wasn't hot, only lukewarm and one part of the lamb was so chewy, that I had to use my steak knife to get a little bite. And when we left, no thank yous or goodbyes. I didn't ask refund or anything, so much it would it take if they even say something like "our bad, do you want coffee for dessert" or something like that. Such a shame...

Woolshed is an Australian themed gastropub and kitchen located in the heart of town. We serve up the best in Australian Gastropub Food and a wide range of craft beers, ciders, wine and sparkling. Dining is casual and the premises includes a large terrace
I like the atmosphere and the live music. This combo promises a high-quality evening and that's what I got every time! The food is good, but it's nothing that special. You can get hamburgers anywhere. I would love to eat some real Australian home-grown dishes! The drinks were expensive, which I totally understand because we are in Finland!Almost everything was very nice but I thought it was weird that the staff didn't speak finnish, even though I heard that one of the staff members did talk in finnish with someone else. I didn't really get what was happening. I was totally okay with the english speaking workers but there should be at least one who talks also in finnish.

Pedestrian only Yliopistonkatu(=University Street) next to Market Place is right in the middle of the City. This Rento Bar, is relaxed like it's name says and summertime their terrace is always crowded and great place to have a pint(Guinness on draught!) and watch people passing by

Like name says, this use to be a bank. Real popular especially during weekends and also one of the most popular places among 50+ people. Large selection of beers, but of course other drinks to. Real crowded, so hard to find place to sit on Fridays/Saturdays

Apparently a popular place to have your beer in this brewery, the former school. They brew different types of beers and have named them according the staff of the Finnish school Opo (IPA), Lehtori (lager) etc. Lunch is served but it was already too Late for lunch so we ordered from the menu list both a flank steak. Not very impressive! The steak was rather nicely done but the promised pepper was totally forgotten. Potato rösti was so crispy and brown that it had been forgotten in the oven. Poor price quality ratio. The atmosphere is also really warn-up maybe at ITS best when you drunken enough.

Welcome to Gastrohome! We hope you'll love our cozy and fun atmosphere, great tapas, steaks and burgers and of course, cold drinks! The kitchen is open all night so when ever you feel like eating, we´re here for you!
We ended up here by mistake as the restaurant we were heading for was closed - but we were not disappointed. It's very cosy and looks more like a bar than a restaurant from the street but the tables are tucked in round the corner. We ordered a couple of their burgers, one veggie, one carnivore and they were the best ever. Accompanied by a nice glass of red wine and brilliant service, we really enjoyed our meal here. Highly recommended.Thank you for visiting, we hope you come back again!
