Great venue on first floor above shop. Nearly exited when entered to discover wooden floors echoing the bleats and chirps of around seven young kids playing around a pool table. Soon noticed the outside sunny verandah dining area to escape from the noise, and enjoy the sun and spring air. Chicken Parma was fantastic. Top salad and chips beside. Busy enough on a weekday lunch. Reckon weekends must attract a crowd (& live music then too).

Booked a table for 9 people 6.00pm. Arrived to be told no booking, had booked the night before! Yes people make mistakes but the guy we dealt with was sarcastic, dismissive and sent us on our way with a âhave a great night â! As a local I will never support this place or Roku Den as I dropped into the see the chef who owns both restaurants and he was equally dismissive. Will not visit either of these restaurants again and will tell anyone who asks my advice the same. Hi Lulucole,We understand your frustration with that evening as it was a mistake on our part. Our staff had placed the booking on a different night and we apologised as best we could. As that moment, all we could offer were our tables in the laneway under the heaters, as nothing else was available. Unfortunately that wasn't an option that would suit your party and we regrettably couldn't accommodate you better. I'm sorry you felt my staff and I myself were dismissive. I couldn't offer a better solution other than what the staff suggested and being at a different location at the time made it difficult. Our sincerest apology.

Relax after your round of golf, set of tennis or gym session and make Whiteâs Paddock the place to unwind. With a menu ranging from salads and sandwiches to seafood and grills. Whiteâs Paddock is a fun, relaxed venue to catch up with friends where you can
Second visit and a cheaper option at RACV Resort. The food is excellent and the chicken parmigiana was again a "big" hit. The pork cutlet went down nicely too. Unfortunately only open Friday and Saturday nights.

Service was quick, food quality not that impressive, although the 300g steak ($30+) was beautifully cooked. Prices were high, seating not that comfortable and the room temperature was cold. However for a quick feed which was what we were after, it ticked the box.

Came across this restaurant by chance and what a find. Food was much more than we bargained for. Try the Philly Cheese Steak roll, itâs amazing. Also the Potato Waffle with salmon and dill was scrumptious. The staff are friendly and service is quick. Highly recommend you give this place a try. We will be returning for certain.

Modern american style BBQ, with vegetarian sides and healthy options. Blue collected good with exceptional customer service, in an alternative, industrial bar setting.
This is a bit of a quirky restaurant , lively atmosphere and popular.I found it a bit uncomfortable in the seating( stools) . The food was great and very flavoursome . The creme brulee was lovely but could have been warmer.A note ... While the food on the chef's choice was great - there is far too much food - and I can eat! I do wish the waitress had said we had really ordered too much -6 of us and there was so much wasted food!

Hi, we ate at this restaurant while in Torquay, and thought it was excellent. Posting it would allow us to write a review for it.
Went to Frontbeach Taphouse with a couple girlfriends for lunch on Saturday. We were quickly seated to a lovely table inside wind-sheltered cafe blinds area with front beach views. My girlfriends had the beef burgers, which they thoroughly enjoyed, whilst I had the slow cooked lamb shoulder. The lamb shoulder was not to my liking so our very attentive, efficient waitress, Leah, offered me an alternative. Cannot fault their customer service. Thank you Leah!

Tried for lunch during the school holidays. Great service, great food. Can recommend the Sticky Chicken Salad - what an amazing combination of tastes!.My wife says the same about the Bombie Nourish Bowl. Both delicious and reasonably sized portions, and reasonably priced. Being licenced was a plus. Will definitely return!

Went there with 3 mated, to check out there beer and food.We started out with there beer taster. Good way to find out what you prefer in taste. We ordered a whole stack of different food, including a pizza, to go with our beer. Both the food ( other than the pizza, not big portions) and beer were very good.If you love your beer, a good place to visit if you are in the area.

On a recent visit to Torquay we decided to grab a quick drink and snack at Growlers on the Torquay foreshore. This fantastically located restaurant needs a major shake up - food and drink service.Selecting off the snack menu at $12 per item we ordered ; dips, Arancini balls and chips. The dips arrived and appeared to be thrown together. Tasteless beetroot dip and some other dip that was flavourless. A bread roll cut up was the dips compliment. The food was terrible.Supermarket dips would have been better.Drinks were quite expensive. As we left we heard another table complaining about their fish meal - appeared to be calamari that looked like boxed supermarket crumbed.Over all a terrible experience and embarrassing for our Torquay host who was apologising Give it a miss.
