Reviews on Bar food in Tiburon, California, United States. Tiburon is an incorporated town in Marin County, California. It is located on the Tiburon Peninsula, which reaches south into the San Francisco Bay. The smaller city of Belvedere (formerly a separate island) occupies the south-west part of the peninsula and is contiguous with Tiburon. Tiburon is bordered by Corte Madera to the north and Mill Valley to the west, but is otherwise mostly surrounded by the Bay. Besides Belvedere and Tiburon, much of the peninsula is unincorporated, including portions of the north side and the communities of Strawberry and Paradise Cay.

Lovely clean spot on Caledonia Street near the old Sausalito Theatre. Well run, great happy hour. Comfortable bar and a very intelligent, dual-lingual bartender (Charlie) who makes one immediately feel at home. This was our third visit. 8 pieces fried chicken with fries ($25.00) is moist, lightly coated and hot. Beautifully prepared. House cocktails at happy hour served for $8.00. Limited menu but all items are tasty and worth a return. Good place to practice your French.

Just like its namesake Farley, the popular San Francisco Chronicle comic-strip character created by the late Phil Frank, Farley Bar is a Bay Area favorite. Understated and relaxing, it offers a small-plate menu, creative cocktails, cozy fireplaces, leathe
I will sometimes frequent this bar as a local and have been twice with my wife. Last time we were there, we had a few cocktails and appetizers. While it's a great spot to take in the view of the bay and the city, a nice break from traffic, that's about it. We felt burned by the $94 bill before tax and tip, for what we got. The tuna appetizer was TINY and flavorless. My wife and I each got a bad oyster, the tiny ones for $3.50 each, and she ended up with violent stomach cramps and on the toilet later that night. I just noticed that mine tasted "off".My advice: split a burger, stick to beer and wine, avoid the overpriced, stingy, everything-else. Now I realize that this bar is part of the sheeshee Cavallo Point Lodge, a $400+/night experience with loaner Lexuses on sight to explore Sausalito, but that doesn't excuse the stingy portions and poorly executed fare.Last thing, I have enjoyed the solo singer/guitarists they have.Dear DavidS,I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience at Farley Bar, our oysters are fresh and locally sourced but unfortunately there is some risk involved, I am very sorry to hear about your wife's experience.Sincerely,Brendan Carlin

Needed a place for several couples and two babies to have dinner. This is a place that serves good beer and wine. You order as you walk in and the food is delivered to your table. Staff were accommodating and provided high chairs for the children. Lots of young couples, some with children. Compared to other places we ate at in Sausalito, this felt like a 'locals' place. It's a short walk from the village center. Parking is close by, but you need to use an app to pay for it. Walk a little further away and there is free parking. Most of us had sandwiches or salads. Beers were the same price as neighboring places. Good vibes. Very nice, but not exceptional.

This place is pretty empty on a Saturday night. But Bar area is awesome. Tables in the bar are cute. bartender seems to be in charge of all the service himself and is working hard, while other wait staff hangs around the empty dining room. Kudos to the bartender and my drink was good too. Guacamole was good. Calamari wet and soggy. We sent that back and they were nice about it and didnât charge us for it. Waited longer than expected ... about a half hour ...between apps and main course. We were hungry and couldnât understand the reason why. There were only two or three tables with guests. So we peeked in the kitchen. Staff is chatting and watching the warriors game, which to be fair, is a great game. Food when it came was pretty good. Steak was really good. Chicken strips delicious. Salmon not bad. Kale salad didnât go over well. My date rated it a c minus because she said was flavorless with uninteresting ingredients ...so they may want to think about changing it. Stopped by around 2:30. Sat at the bar and ordered drinks. The wife had her favorite, the Italian Margarita. I hesitated, but asked the bartender if he was any good at making an Old Fashion. He said, "You're testing. me?" "Yes!" Glad I challenged him because when he asked for orange peel and not an orange wedge. I knew he had skills. We also decided to have the calamari which was tender and very good. Very cozy and warm place.

Hip place by the water in Sausalito. Very good pizza and drinks at this place and the service was excellent. Decent menu selections and a very nice atmosphere overall. This place is close to the shopping street and ferry terminal. Varied seating options, from bar style tables, to regular tables and also an interesting comunal arrangement around some sort of fire pit in the middle. seems like a pet friendly place as we saw a couple of dogs inside. Recommended if you are in Sausalito. Very nice town by the way

Located in Marin County on San Francisco Bay in the charming town of Tiburon, Sam's Anchor Cafe has long been famous for fresh seasonal seafood, a fun atmosphere and breathtaking views of Angel Island, Alcatraz and the San Francisco skyline. Founded in 19
We sat on the deck overlooking the marina - and WOW! Priceless views of the SF skyline and bay, Alcatraz and Angel Islands. (Bet you can't take just 1 picture!) But then we were worried that the view would overshadow the food - wrong! Everything we ordered was so fresh and delicious! Overall one of our best dining experiences!
