family run business, Well-kept ales, lagers and ciders plus a great selection of locally sourced wines. Fresh food served lunchtimes and evenings. We're all dog owners and parents so dogs and kids welcome!
The pub itself is lovely, with fantastic decor and very friendly staff.Sunday lunch offered a fantastic range of well prepared vegetables however what was so disappointing is the tiny portion of meet served. If my one slice of beef had been any thinner Iâd be eating a vegetarian Sunday lunch.Such a shame as a more sensible portion of meat would have got me,my family and friends returning.I felt that there was no value in the Sunday lunch and wonât be revisiting.Dear Customer, Thank you for your review, as a brand new business in a local community of Tetbury, we take all feedback on board to try and improve our service and offering. The Sunday lunch offering is as follows: £11.95 for a large plate - This offers you as a individual to pick from any of our three meats on offer, you can have one of each if you would like. The £5.95 smaller plate offering is 1 selected slice meat. Both plates allow you put your own vegetables on the plate, so you can have as much as you wish, this offering fantastic value in high market area of Tetbury. My name is Neil and i am the owner of the Greyhound Tetbury, and i was on site on Sunday, i wish that you had spoken to me as i would of made sure that you had the required portion to satisfy, or spoken directly to the server on the day, as we really do not have a strict policy on portion control. Ate here last night as staying nearby on holiday. Very friendly bar man who chatted with us all. Quite a good choice on the menu. Two of us went for gammon and the other two went for hunters chicken. None of us were disappointed when the food came out. Delicious home cooked food and plenty of it. None of us could manage pudding. If we were staying here longer we would go back again. As it said on the receipt ' enter a stranger, leave a friend! ' Lovely!

We dined as a family over the bank holiday weekend. We had different main courses - the fish and chips was good and the sea bass cooked just right. The dinning area is upstairs above the main bar. The service was a little on the slow side in terms of the food but it was very busy. Desserts good - rice pudding with mango worth a try. Overall a pleasant meal, friendly and helpful staff.

With a vibrant ambiance and lots of intimate cosy corners to unwind in, friends come together and locals gather to feast on a plate of sumptuous food and a glass of fine wine throughout the day. Our bar menu is indulgent yet simple and designed to satisfy
Stayed at the attached hotel and ate lunch and dinner in this bar. Food is very nice and reasonably priced. Most staff are very friendly and helpful. A bit more choice on the menu would be good.

The Holford Arms is a 16th century characterful, country 'freehouse' pub, boasting fantastic food, great beer and a wonderful warm atmosphere. Described by many as a 'smallholding pub' the landlords produce their own Pork including their own sausages, bac
Fortunately we booked lunch; pub was heaving. Table released in 3 minutes and lunch ordered within 5 minutes. We all ordered the same meal which arrived with a VERY meagre helping of veg. After a complaint was raised the delightful and helpful waitress resolved the problem immediately(with profuse aoplogies). Now the meal was excellent! 4 satisfied customers. Not only that but our bill was reduced 10% without request. SERVICE!!

The Ormond is a 17th century coaching inn serving British pub classics using local ingredients and delicious Italian style pizzas. We serve a fantastic array of breakfasts, coffee and homemade cakes, cream teas during the summer months and lunch and dinne
We booked this hotel based on a recommendation from a friend based on it's close proximity to the area in which we wanted to visit. While it's not necessarily luxury, it's simply a charming and delightful place to stay. The staff add to it's atmosphere. While I'm sure there were other restaurants to dine, we opted to eat dinner here every night during our stay - why ? Because the meals were so delicious.

The Snooty Fox has to be the penultimate cosy Cotswolds local. Every detail from its roaring open fires, comfy window seats and original floorboards to its wood-panelled walls are the epitome of British bonhomie, and the bar even has a resident Great Dane
If you want to experience the true flavor of a charming Cotswold village, this is the spot. The snooty Fox is located in the center of Tetbury and is great for a pint, a glass of wine and even a pub dinner. We were surprised to find an interesting menu and wine list along with quite a collection of British beers, pub dogs and a beautiful fireplace. We had duck with a bottle of Burgundy and were very happy with our selections.

Cosy, cheerful and friendly, The Gumstool is our very own Cotswolds inn. We guarantee a warm welcome and plates piled high with deliciousness. Serving classic pub food with a twist, real ales and excellent wines, The Gumstool is just the spot for families
Its a proud boast but well justified. Although we had booked we were late coming from a splendid concert at St Marys` Church Tetbury. The dining room was crowded but no problem, we were quickly seated and orders taken. Our starters parfait and mackerel fish cake were promising but it was the mains that showed off the skill in the kitchen. Hake and salmon perfectly cooked with vegetables to accompany and perfectly matched. Wine is available by the glass. Our first visit but not the last.Hello NigelWhat a lovely review! Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience of The Gumstool Inn. We are always so pleased to hear when our guests have had a fab time!I am thrilled that you will be coming back to us again in the future!I will pass on your compliments to the Chef and the entire Gumstool team.Best wishesTamsyn

Called in at lunchtime with work colleagues for a quick pizza and a drink. Although there were only three other tables occupied the service was painfully slow. Several minutes to take drink orders and a further several minutes for the drinks to arrive. Similar story for food order and in the end we were there for an hour and a half, fine for a three course meal, but not good for a pizza and a drink.Good news was that the pizzas were very good, fresh and tasty.
