Hello, We dropped into this bar while visting Tahoe City, having walked the length of the strip. We decided we wanted the bar experience and got it in style. Greeted nice by two lovely ladies and a customer at the bar who said, "have the chicken". So we order two beers, the Tuesday Chicken special and a salad. Wow - good stuff. Chicken, tender as, and tasty too. Even the chef came out to say hello. Highly recommended if you are visiting the area.

Some of the best cocktails weâve had in awhile! Fresh ingredients. Made in house ginger beer. Nice attentive bartenders. Food was delicious also as we shared plates and tried a couple different dishes. Place was packed but we found 2 seats at the bar and had prompt friendly service. There was lots of energy and good music to go with our food and drinks. Canât wait to get back soon.

Casual dining and looks like could be fun at night to have a drink. Small section outside, street side. Service come to you. Lots of smiles.

Stopped here for dinner on way back from Virginia City. Service was mediocre as was the food. Food was more expensive here than other places and was not worth it. Wife ordered the House salad which was about 60% kale then the rest was the normal California greens with a few cherry tomatoes. No cucumbers or anything else. I had the Cuban and it was meh. I have had way better for this price range in areas that are more expensive. Also had the hop dragon and was highly disappointed. We are not the ones to be obnoxious at the restaurant but will not return if the quality and or service is lacking for the price. So we will not be returning to this establishment.

After an early afternoon of snowshoeing at Donner Memorial State Park in Truckee, we decided on having a sit down meal in Tahoe City, about 30 minutes away. Having knowledge of restaurants down by the waterfront of Lake Tahoe, we settled on this particular restaurant. Being mid afternoon and mid week, it was quiet and we enjoyed personal service. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and attentive. There was a really good selection of cold beers available. The price was very good for what we ate, $38. That was for two meals and two beers plus tip. We highly recommend trying this restaurant, but be aware that it will be busier on weekends and during summer months. There was some excellent recorded Country Music being played while we dined. We left very satisfied. I had the 6 bone St. Louis Ribs with two sides, homemade baked beans and marinated slaw. It was also served with a delicious slab of cornbread. My wife had the Pulled Pork Sandwich, Marinated Slaw and Sweet Potato side that was awesome!

Lovely dinner. The appetizers were excellently prepared and so delicious. Crab cakes and hamachi were scrumptious and left us wanting more. The vegetables they were paired with complimented the dishes very well. Scallops were grilled to perfection and were tasty and oh so tender. Desserts were also very good. Loved the cheesecake. Gluten free cobbler could use some work. Bread is not up to the quality of the rest of the food.

Family, Friendly restaurant. Able to accommodate large parties. Have an arcade upstairs which is great entertainment for kids on a stormy day. We offer down home comfort foods. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Rosieâs Café, Tahoe City â Great vibe, great grub and great décor. Vintage knickknacks hang from the eateryâs two-story rafters, keeping hungry eyes busy until the food arrives. The breakfast and lunch menus are comparable to Fire Signâs, but Rosieâs also serves dinner, from real fried chicken to Italian schnitzel (both $17.49). Plus, theyâll happily substitute a waffle for a pancake without charge or attitude.

Bridgetender Tavern and Grill, also known as The BT, serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. We have outdoor patio seating in the summer along the Truckee river. Join us for the best Burgers and Bloody Marys in Lake Tahoe! Featuring all you can drink Mimosas
Obviously, a popular spot! We visited for dinner about 7 P.M., and struggled to find a parking spot. Once inside, we found the place crowded, noisy and fun, for both locals and visitors. It was certainly an upbeat atmosphere. The menu had good selections and the service friendly and quick, given how busy they were. Two of three of our meals were quite good. The third order was for split pea soup, which was not hot and too thick. the burger was great, but avoid the split pea soup.Recommended for a casual. fun lunch or dinner.

Sunnyside's spectacular location on the pristine West Shore makes it the place to be in Lake Tahoe. Panoramic views of the lake and mountains beyond abound from nearly every table and during the summer, guests can also enjoy alfresco dining on Lake Tahoe'
We headed back on 89 towards Tahoe City looking for a place to eat dinner. Weâd heard about Sunnyside from a fellow traveler and since the restaurant was one of the few on the water, and casual where we could eat a light meal, we decided to try it out. We ate on the deck overlooking the lake and sat next to a nice couple from Arizona. Since the woman I met suggested the salmon bowl we both thought weâd try it and were glad we did. It was a light meal with sweetened grated carrots, cucumbers, edamame, seaweed, white rice and a perfectly cooked piece of sesame encrusted salmon. On the side was a teriyaki dipping sauce. A glass of Pinot Gris and a great lake view made for a perfect evening until the sun dropped and the chill air breeze came upon us forcing us wimps to leave.

The view along the Truckee River ( dine outside) was simply amazing! Service top notch. Parking is iffy If they are busy. Make reservations!!! The appetizers are FANTASTIC. Main course options are satisfactory. The only reason not giving top score was the Johnny Burger was ordered medium and it was raw. With that being said, itâs well worth a evening dining in Tahoe City
