My husband and I generally seek out Irish pubs in our travels, but also try to check out the local places in nearby towns. I figure there must be something special about this place and the other one in Puyallup... how do two Irish pubs survive across the street from one another? Flanagan's has a great ambiance, excellent beers on tap, great service, and good food. The only negative is the noise. It was almost unbearably noisy, even on a weekday evening. (To be fair, when the loud party of 5 finally left, the noise level dropped by half!). I had the Reuben sandwich and fries; excellent! The potatoes were especially wonderful, little curly slices of crispy goodness. We would have hung around for a while except for the noise; next time we'll come earlier in the afternoon.

The Loose Wheel is a sport-themed restaurant, featuring home-style food, large portions, and affordable prices.
I had lunch at the Loose Wheel in Puyallup with several friends. Among us we had fish and chips, French dip, a bacon cheeseburger and I had fried chicken. All very good, especially the fish and chips. For $12.95 I got four pieces of pressure-cooked chicken (leg, wing, thigh, and breast). Very tasty. The order came with about six huge jo jo potatoes and cole slaw. I took the breast and three jos home for later. The other guys all gave their meals a thumbs up. It isn't fancy, but it's good food and it's a real food place.

Visited around 8:00 pm on a Sat night and although there was only one party there it was super-loud and mimicked a bar crowd more than a restaurant setting. Wife got the Cuban sandwich which was great, I got a cheese pizza that was a little above average. Couldn't help but notice both employees behind the counter eating food with their fingers and then continuing to work. But despite the the loud crowd it was a good choice for a quality sandwich at a fairly reasonable price.

My wife and I came here for dinner on New Years Eve and had a nice meal. The PBJ burger and onion rings were really good. Our server was very friendly and provided prompt service.

Our friends live nearby and insisted we go out to dinner with them. They knew we liked brewery food, and this place was nice. The Scotch Ale and IPA were good, not great, but good. We had fish tacos, a tad greasy and fried, and a burger with blue cheese and bacon which was excellent. Service was very good, and the setting inside an old power house was very interesting and fun.

Venue is nice, and staff attentive. My meal, however, was very disappointing. I don't eat much fried food normally, but ordered the fried shrimp (perhaps hoping it was going to be tempura-like). Bad decision. The meal arrived with a plate filled mainly with fries, all very overcooked and pretty tasteless A few overcooked shrimp were buried in the mess of fries. The whole plate just looked .... brown. Two small bowls on the side - one with a dip for the shrimp, the other with about a tablespoon of coleslaw doused in mayonnaise, which looked unappetizing and tasted off. I know you can fry food and keep it healthy and full of flavor, but this was not one of those meals, with not a fresh vegetable in sight. My friend's burger did look better,, but this review is for the meal I received. I don't often visit the Seattle area, so I'm not likely to go back.

Nice restaurant with friendly and competent service. Excellent and unusual selection of dishes, e.g. chimichurri (1) butter with the steak. Incredibly good taste and perfectly prepared by the chef. Try also the well prepared veggies...Unfortunately, I couldnât try the wine. My bad...

We met some friends here to see an AC/DC tribute band (Soul Stripper-great tribute act) and had a really fun evening. The food was really good, the drinks were great and the servers were prompt and friendly. This was also a great venue for live music. We will definitely do this again.

Went here for dinner and it was great! The service was prompt and very friendly. We ordered the NW Traditional pizza and it was very good. The place was very busy, but our server met all our needs and checked in with us regularly!

This place is off the chart fabulous! Try something you think you may like and youâll love it! The biggest surprise was the check, I would not have flinched if it were 25-35% higher, I thought waitress made a mistake! My favorite was the tacos (one of each type, of course) and sweet potato fries! Yes, they went together superbly! Every dish that passed us made us wish we had something else!
