The Olde Heritage Tavern is where the locals go in Lenox. Our menu features Appetizers to Entrees. We are a traditional Tavern. We offer large portions of our homemade food. We have a great staff that enjoys taking care of our friendly customers. We have
Nice local joint with great food! We enjoyed sitting at the bar and having a drink after exploring downtown Lenox and Ventfort Hall. I had a delicious Salmon BLT and my wife had a really good patty melt. Service was friendly even though it was busy. Our food took a while to come out, but I would rather the kitchen take their time and deliver on quality like they did, then rush and have our meal be unenjoyable. My only recommendation would be to expand the taps to include some more local / regional brews. Overall, great place to enjoy a drink or delicious meal.

Since 1995 the Barrington Brewery has been serving our own Barn Brewed Beer and food made from scratch. We were the first brewery on the east coast to install a solar panel system that supplies solar-heated hot water for brewing and restaurant use.
Stopped here for lunch while on a fall drive through the Berkshires. Nice menu and great beer brewed on the premises. Service was very pleasant, atmosphere is casual and prices are very reasonable. Beer is available for take away also at reasonable prices for a brewery in New England. Recommended if traveling in the area.

Casual dining and casual atmosphere. New owners have done a nice job with low-key decor and eclectic menu that offers amazing variety of pub food. Offerings are thoughtful and varied, but are still pub food. Service is very good and drinks are on the mark. All in all, a pleasant experience. Housatonic is about 10 minutes from Great Barrington and about 20 minutes from Stockbridge, Mass.

Full service Inn, Restaurant, Bar & Lounge with live music. Farm to Fork. Full dinner menu, light fare menu, over 150 whiskeys to choose from and an extensive wine list. Open Fridays and Saturdays June to December, from 5pm. Daily except Wednesdays in Jul
We went to the lounge to enjoy an light meal and live music. The room itself was warm and comfortable. The food (and drink!) was delicious. It was great listening to the pianist/singer in an inimate setting. After looking at the Inn, we were sorry we were not staying thereThank you so much for dropping by! We created the lounge so Lenox would have a cosy and sophisticated venue for music lovers, and are glad you discovered us. We hope to see again in the near future.

Parking seems to be on-street only, unless you use one of the public parking lots nearby, but we had little trouble finding a spot on a Thursday evening. The interior was brightly-lit, but smelled strongly of fish which was off-putting and detracted from our initial impression. There was a bar and television on the main dining area, though I would not call the place a "pub," per se. The area we were sitting was cozy enough.I ordered a Black Angus hamburger, and it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten, quite honestly. Juicy, tender, flavorful, and well-prepared with mushrooms, pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes. The french fries were also exquisite. Crisp on the outside, and tender on the inside. Perfectly seasoned as well.My wife had the salmon cake appetizer special, which was a perfect entree-sized portion for her. It consisted of three small salmon cakes dressed with an aoili sauce. They needed a little more flavor inside, but they had a nice hard sear on the exterior. It was served with a small salad consisting of baby greens, capers, and tiny tomatoes. The dressing was tasty but not overpowering. Overall, both dinners were enjoyable. The server was pleasant and welcoming. We would definitely return.

We ate in the bar area. The service was very slow. Seemed like the waiter had to wait on too many tables at once. The menu was limited to a few sandwiches and pasta dishes... and more pasta dishes. Pasta dishes are the cheapest to make, highest profit. is that why it seemed like all pasta dishes or do they need a cook? First time I have had a club sandwich where the bread was not toasted... odd. My club had unripened tomatoes (green and white on the inside). Seemed like a local hangout at the bar. If you want to hear the bartender singing to every song coming out of the speaker, this is the place to go!not sure you were at michaels, we dont serve pasta and sanwiches on the same menu.

The Lion's Den pub, located downstairs at The Red Lion Inn, has something happening seven nights a week, and never a cover charge when thereâs live music. There's something different each night, with Monday night football Mondayâs and Trivia on Tuesday. T
I am slightly confused if the Widow Bingham's Tavern is the same as the Lion's Den or not but both are apparently located within the Red Lion Inn. We did not have reservations since we were just passing through Stockbridge, so getting seated in the main dining room of the inn was out of the question. We asked the hostess if we could get a table in the Widow Bingham's Tavern, which we found online. She told us yes if we promised her to be gone in an hour since she needed the table by that time. My husband was very taken aback but I thought it was better than not giving us a table at all, as another nearby restaurant had done. We were seated and had a truly wonderful waiter. He was really kind and helpful. We were served quickly but without feeling rushed. The French Onion Soup and the Risotto with truffle oil were both delicious, as was the fresh bread. We would definitely eat here again.Thank you so much for writing a great review of your recent visit! To help clarify our dining venues, the Lion's Den is located on the lower level of the Inn. We do not accept reservations in the Den so it is definitely a first come first serve environment with a casual, small plate menu. It's historic and iconic with a really great vibe. We offer music Wednesday through Sunday and it is a local favorite. Widow Bingham's Tavern is adjacent to our Main Dining Room and offers a Tavern, (pub style) menu. We also offer our Main Dining Room menu. I'm pleased that we were able to accommodate you for lunch and I really appreciate your kind words regarding the service you received and quality of the food offerings. We look forward to your return!Natalie WardRegional Director of OperationsRed Lion InnMain Street Hospitality

Surrounded by soft candlelight, crystal chandeliers, antique china and colonial pewter, The Red Lion Inn's main dining room is the perfect place to spend a romantic evening or mark a special occasion. Executive Chef Rob Burnell's menus feature both tradit
This antiquated place is not well maintained as evidenced by the peeling ceilings. The settings are stately white linens, and vested staff, however when we, as a group arrived, on time as scheduled, even called prior to our arrival, the staff seemed a bit unprepared. Once the activity began, we were well underway to being served. The order was for chicken pot pie, instead it was chicken stew with a flaky biscuit inserted in the middle. In short a lot of huff and puff, and nothing else. Not a repeat.
