Service was courteous and fairly prompt. The food was seasoned well and the portions were large. Especially liked the stuffed rockfish and crab cakes. It was a weeknight so the sports bar was quiet so conversation was easy.

We went in as we have been wanting to try this place for a long time. We sat ourselves (per the sign), and waited and waited. I finally got up and walked to the bar to ask for menus. The nice barkeep gave me menus and said she would get our server. After a few more minutes, our server arrived and we ordered drinks and our lunch (we had the menus long enough to decide! We got our drinks and had another long wait for our food. Food quality was very good (sandwich, wrap, fries and chili) almost all should have been prepared or semi-ready. When our food arrived our server keep great tabs on our drinks and food. Prices were a little high for a lunch but not terrible little some others in the area. We probably will try it again.Fran, thank you for your kind words about the food we offer here at Rams Head Shore House! We apologize that you did not receive the timely service that we strive to provide all of our guests. At your convenience, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we will make things right. The Big Owl Deck Bar is fun and full of good eats and good music. Enjoyed the Caribbean Splash, fried pickles and Cheesesteak sub.

Our lunch during July 4th weekend could not have gone more wrong. After getting seated on the deck, we basically sat there, we were forgotten and got served 15 mins later with menus and water. We ordered some drinks and our food and the drinks took a while and the food even longer, although the waitress clearly told us the food would not be long.clearly everything that could go wrong, went wrong. We did complain to the waitress and eventually the manager came to see us and we got offered a discount on our bill. The waitress was very pissed off and clearly took it personal. We are not complainers out of habit and i had a great meal and service last time but will consider coming her again mainly due to the waitress attitude. After reading your review it pains me to know one of our staff members ruined your entire experience. It seems as if from the start anything that could go wrong did go wrong. I sincerely apologize. Should you find yourself in the area and interested in giving us another chance to change your opinion of our establishment, I would love the opportunity to say Hello in person and show you the very best Hemingway's has to offer.

The food was delicious And plenty of it! The service was ok. They were busy and could have used an extra server. Friendly atmosphere. Restaurant was clean. They need to update their prices on their website. Sandwiches cost $2.00 more than I expected.

Millions of people drive by this place every year and will never discover it, what a shame. Two of our friends knew about this place and my wife and one of her friends from Germany decided we needed to visit here for a bite to eat and to get updated. First of all we wwerre coming in from the west across the bridge and made all the turns as per our GPS told us, but it lead us about 1/2 mile beyond the restaurant! We found out that the place has a small sign and if you are driving over 25 mph, it is easy to miss. well, we missed it. When we finally found the place my wife and I were very hungry. Our friends were already at the table and so seating was no problem. Our water and iced teas were delivered very quickly. We were brought some very tasty cheese rolls that were very tasty. then he brought out some bread and butter. It took us about 3 minutes to pick what we wanted and placed the order. The orders ranged from a salad with grilled chicken to some kind of fish dish and both of us guys ordered top sirloin steaks with salads and another side dish. We waited about 15 minutes, just enough time to finish our salads. when all of our main dishes came out! The service was great. The asparagus was tender and the steaks were done perfectly and were so good we forgot to talk while eating. (We were all hungry.) We ended up staying a bit over 2 hours getting caught up and also ended up ordering some great desserts. The only fault I could find was the small portions, but the prices were about average with larger portions elsewhere. (That is the reason for the Very Good instead of Excellent.) So try Frix's some time when your in the Kent Island area and watch out for the sign and that the place is located in a small strip plaza on the north side of the road.

Located on the first floor of The Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, Knoxie's Table brings an innovative dining concept to Kent Island. The menu draws inspiration from our very own Chef's Garden and Greenhouse and utilizes local farmers and watermen to
We recently met friends here for dinner. It was our first time eating here. It was happy hour so we started with drinks in the bar. We moved over to the dining room when our whole party arrived. My rockfish entree was fresh and perfectly cooked. My husband's scallops were delicious. The wine list is long and excellent. Food prices are typical for seafood in this area (high) so I would consider this fine dining. Service was excellent. It sounds like you had a wonderful first experience at Knoxie's Table. We greatly appreciate your detailed review and look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Beach Front Restaurant And Tiki Bar, Boat Dockage Available, Free Parking, Award Winning Crab Cakes, Family Friendly, Indoor And Outdoor Dining Options
On our way to a B&B weekend we stopped by Kentmorr for lunch. I've reviewed several "crab shacks/house" and really haven't found anything exciting about them. This restaurant is huge with several amenities such as a beach behind the restaurant and a boat launch. The restaurant's decor is what you'd find at many other crab restaurants. The lunch menu had a variety of items and I chose the shrimp tacos and my wife had calamari and cream of crab soup. The soup was very good and the calamari was fresh and soft. The shrimp tacos needed some seasoning but otherwise was good. Like my other reviews this is a nice restaurant, nice beach, your next to the lake and the service was pretty good. To me it's just another average crab house.

We went there with some good friends who live in Stevensville. OMG the service and attention as soon as we walked in was awesome. The food was great. It was the best glazed Salmon over very thin brussel sprouts on lime rice. I would definitely return next time in are in Maryland. They had the most beautiful chandelier made out of wine bottles. Fell in love with it.
