Visit here every year on holiday and over the years taken other family members who have joined us. Each and every time we have been the food and the service has been incredible for the price. The only time i remember a problem which wasn't a problem to us was having to wait a while because the pub inside and out was full to busting with custom. We don't mind waiting for good food. The landlady bought us a drink due to the wait and when we tried to pay the bill one of our meals was taken off the bill which wasn't asked for or called for in our opinion so the price of that meal was put in the tip jar. I can only imagine that people who are claiming the landlady or anyone associated with Bolingey are rude and aggressive are failing to tell us about their own attitude whilst probably being the worst customers ever.Thankyou for your lovely comments, we hope to see you all back next year.Carol

We really enjoyed our lunch, the service was friendly and welcoming. Nice atmosphere even though dogs are allowed in the bar and often make unwelcome visits to your table.Varied menu, tasty food, served pippping hot.

We were staying in St Agnes in a holiday rental and had a couple of meals here.Good selection of food, Sunday roast is a must! We now live overseas but this pubis what we remember as a proper local pub. The staff and locals are friendly and very welcoming. A quiz night for those with brain power. Well worth a visit.

We are a pub that offers food, B & B and live music, we also host conferences, weddings & beer festivals. Postcode TR5 0RT
Went to this pub on a Saturday and the main bar area was very busy and with locals all crowded round the bar not willing to move for anyone wanting to buy a drink. A number had dogs lying at their feet providing tripping obstacles for anyone carrying their drinks back to their table.Bars should be for serving drinks and not for everyone to pitch themselves for the night and not a place for people to park their dogs.It would be much more sensible to allocate a section of the bar as a serving area only and for dogs to be hidden away under tables or chairs. There is another section to the pub up one or two steps and that provides more seating but itâs not got the ambience of the main bar.Looked at menu and it seems quite pricey. £12.95 for fish and chips. £15 for a burger and £22 for 8oz steak....Had an excellent pint of local bitter but other than that, little to entice me to stay.....oh, and did I mention the locals parking themselves at the bar ?Note to manager: itâs bloominâ annoying having to bob your head around the heads of people just standing at the bar drinking hoping to get the attention of a bar tender; and then having to squeeze hands between the shoulders of said people parked at bar in order to gingerly manoeuvre two pints without spilling them.

WAX Newquay is a brand new restaurant and cocktail bar located in the heart of Newquay. Located in a historic Lloyds bank this restaurant in a mix between modern stylings and the classic bank decor.
We came here on the 20th October for our wedding anniversary meal. After reading the reviews I thought 2 bad reviews, the rest brilliant - and it wasn't so big inside so we were expecting a more personal approach. This is not what we got. We ordered drinks and our meal at 7.02. The bar man said he would bring my cocktail over ASAP. 30 mins later still no cocktail!! My husband had finished half his drink! The barman looked busy so we assumed he was making the cocktail, no he went away from the bar and wiped tables!! We then said "excuse me, we are still waiting for a cocktail" he replied yes I know!!! He then came over with the cocktail which was mostly ice! The food - whilst that was quicker than the drinks HA - the burger I ordered was very rare. Almost still mooing! Then we noticed I was missing my onion rings - I didn't dare mention this as I thought I'd have a snappy reply. £41 - for a upscale Wetherspoons. We did enjoy the décor.
