This is such a bright, clean and cheerful place! We were really surprised there werenât more people there. We sat outside and had a drink and some snacks after checking into the hotel and waiting for our friends to arrive. It is right on the river, so the view is very pleasant. The Bloody Mary was quite good and the service was also very good. We were able to use the coupon we received when we checked into the hotel.Later that evening, we sat at the bar inside and had a light dinner and a nightcap. The bartender, Sharon, was a lot of fun and made the four of us feel very welcome and at home. I had the lobster lettuce wraps. They were fresh and delicious and perfect for a late evening meal. The serving was so generous, I couldnât even finish all of them. I canât remember what the rest of my party had to eat, but I do know they were pleased with their choices. The only negative is the ugly, dark, green-carpeted stairway that you need to use to get to and from the bar. That could use some sprucing up.We would definitely stop here again the next time we are up that way.

I tried to be objective, but when it comes to this particular restaurant, it was absolutely atrocious! The service was awful. We came by water, by jet skis. The food was mediocre, burnt actually on one of the sandwiches. I do not recommend this restaurant at all! I don't know how it gets great reviews. We were on the deck on this particular day and yes it was warm but it certainly wasn't overwhelming for the service for what we got.And I will say I have been at this place more than once and got the same service, I don't know why I keep going back there!

We frequent Lynn Catherineâs mainly for dinner and/or Wednesday Trivia. Everything we have ordered there has been delicious. Servers Bobbi and Letha are friendly and efficient. DJ Kyle does a fabulous job of making trivia entertaining and challenging.

Because of a mix up they were not expecting 50 of us to show up for continental breakfast on Sunday. Within 1/2 hour the staff put together a very good buffet breakfast with fruit, scrambled eggs, hash browns, French toast, pancakes and bacon. I was impressed.

Blarney Island is THE GREATEST BOATING BAR IN THE WORLD! Only a mile away from reality, located in the middle of Grass Lake in Antioch, IL. This establishment has been open since 1901! *Boats Races are held every Thursday evening during the Summer. *Live
Yesterday we were out on a family excursion, no plans to go to the bar/restaurant. When we realized that there was a fast moving storm approaching we decided to park the boat and take refuge at Blarneys. We had our Dog with us and I was, as you could expect, FREAKING OUT. I was afraid they wouldnât let us stay because Sammie was with us. Olivia quickly calmed me down and assured me that they would never turn anyone away in a situation like that. I will forever remember the kindness and compassion of Olivia and all the waitstaff/bartenders. We ended up spending a few hours there and it was sooo fun. Music, food, even gift shop. I will be back for sure! Thanks Olivia and all the staff that made an effort to stop and say hello. You made my day! She is our biggest baby.

I've been in this bar/restaurant twice in the last month or so! The burger had me coming back for another! Yum! The buttered and toasted bun is what does it...I think! The first time I got the tots, which were delicious, and the second time I ordered the fries. The fries I didn't like so much, but that's because they are fresh cut which I know I don't really care for. Tasted a little dirt in the fries too...gotta wash the potatoes better. I hope the "bacon shortage" is over soon, cuz I'm going back!! Great place to grab a bite to eat!

This is a great restaurant location and a few owners have come and gone. We visited Bricks and Ivy Sports Tavern shortly after they opened. The place has been remodeled and looks good with a large open area for dining. The food and service was good. They offer daily specials.

The building isn't much, but the service, food and drinks are first rate. The Friday fish and chips are above average and the other items are first rate, including the bar burger. A good selection of beer on tap including Schlitz, and craft beers. Reasonable prices in a small town setting.Closed on Mondays.c

When there for lunch a few times and it was very good. They had their normal menu plus a few specials each day. Food and soup was very good. I have not had their pizza yet but it looked very good and I intend to try it soon
