Iconic Maryland bar and restaurant serving famous crab dip, fresh & never frozen 100% beef burgers, fan-favorite wings, a $7.99 lunch menu, and a wide selection of local, craft, and specialty beers. Always a good game on TV, and every seat has a good view
Weâve been to a few of this regional chainâs restaurants, but like this location best because the staff is so much more attentive and friendlier here. The food is quite good, nice portions, and not too pricey. My husband loves the âturtle tendersâ (very flavorful and crispy chicken fingers), I especially like their fish tacos and crab soup. Never been disappointed at this location! Also, check out their lunch specials (back cover of menu), great value.

You know Applebee's menu, right? Of Course. But this one has sticky tables. And it is extremely dark.

We were staying close by at the Comfort Inn and craving pizza so we headed to this regional chain spot. Not being from the region we didn't know what to expect but I always enjoy trying new things, and we were famished! We ordered a meat lovers pizza with some added veggie toppings, boneless wings,a salad and a cup of the soup of the day which was chicken tortilla. All but the soup was delicious, the soup on the other hand was not so good, we didn't say anything to our server because we work in the business and didn't want to give her any issues besides she wasn't the one who cooked it! In fact our server whose name was Juliana was extremely sweet and efficient, she was very busy but still had time to check on us periodically. Definitely a good choice for a filling and inexpensive meal, pizza or otherwise.

Just outside downtown Dover, near Legislative Hall is this delightful pub with a lake view and a richly designed pub decor. It was half price burger day so we indulged... great burgers. And they came done medium or rare as ordered.. fries were excellent, or you could swap out for a caesar salad or other sides.Beer selections are enormous; special drinks and wine list rocks..Lots else on the menu besides burgers, like soups, salads and dinner entrees.Bottom line: great armosphere, busy place with a pulse and really good food.

Male server was great! Bisque was just a tiny bit salty. Three of us got various seafood dishes & one got a chicken plate...all of us liked our meals. Drinks are expensive. Atmosphere is low-key & we all enjoyed it. Plan to go back again. Found a place to buy great pole limas on the trip back to civilization from this remote area.

The Lemon Leaf Cafe is a casual restaurant located in downtown Smyrna, DE. Lunch and dinner are served daily, and brunch is served on the weekends.
Staying in Smyrna overnight to visit Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, wanted a meal better than a diner. I do recommend the Lemon Leaf Cafe. It's in a restored Victorian building with small pretty dining rooms, white table cloths, wood floors. My only atmosphere complaint is that there was "smooth jazz" playing from a sonos sound system on the floor. My husband didn't mind it, but I really didn't think the sound matched the room at all. The food was very good. I had chicken avocado salad and my husband had burger and fries. Our lunch probably cost $10 more than it would have at a diner, but the cost was fair. Very good food in a nicer setting.

We are here on a local recommendation and weren't disappointed! This restaurant IS in the boondocks. The excellent food, fun atmosphere and friendly service trumps that.We tried the "pig out" and would recommend it if you are looking for a sampling. Dungeness crab, shrimp, corn, chicken wings, fries - what's not to love?Side note - if you are a fan of refills on soda, get a pitcher up front. Refills are extra and this is a less expensive choice.Save room for dessert! The apple dumplings with caramel sauce and ice cream were perfect! Enjoy!

Brown butcher paper and a roll of paper towels on the tables, pictures of family and locals on the wall and delicious local seafood served fresh and delicious. Family owned and operated for 66 years, in fact the restaurant was named after its original fisherman owner who was called Sambo. If you want good seafood ask a local and so we did; Samboâs fit the bill. Their crab bisque was creamy and delicious with lots of crab no filler. My flounder sandwich was huge. The fish was flaky and moist served with a side of hand cut french fries. Please keep in mind this was a cash only restaurant, attire and attitude is casual. Ample parking in front of and across the road was available.

Visiting our nephew who lives in Smyrna. This place is a neighborhood spot that has great food. Their fish and chips are outstanding. The special this night was wings. They were great with old bay on them. The menu is varied and has something for everyone. This is a great place.

Brickworks consistently has a nice selection of craft drafts in a pleasant atmosphere. They have a nice happy hour and I recently enjoyed a shrimp and a pork burrito. I would like to try one of their beer dinners. The menus look amazing.
