Was expecting at least a standard pub meal. Went for lunch mid week. To start with really poor service. No one at the counter to take orders. Found our own table, helped ourselves to menu and then hand to wait for somebody to walk by to get our orders in. That had a call bell which we had used with no response. Prob should have left then but we were hungry. We ordered from the $15 lunch menu options. I had a steak Schnitzel and my friend had the calamari. We didn't have to wait long before our food arrived. My schnitzel was accompanied by soggy chips and a salad that was drowned in salad dressing. The schnitzel itself was average. My friends calamari had a weird coating on them, I tasted it as she was unsure to what it was. Tasted like cinnamon or nutmeg, we were both unsure but was very strange on calamari. The plates were piled high with chips but soaked in salad dressing. Looked like they had been just thrown on the plate, no care. We both picks at meals and did not eat them. We were amazed to see the staff hurry out the door and close up shop at 2pm whilst we were still eating. So when we left we wondered who was going to clean up etc Def won't be going back there!

We had a business lunch meeting and the food was delicious, with HUGE serves. Friendly staff, very reasonable prices, with amazing value for money!

This place is obviously a local pub that does little to embrace and welcome the Out of Towner, if youâre travelling through Singleton, donât bother.....my recommendation is to drive 30 seconds down the road to the Royal Hotel-Motel.....meals, ambiance and patronage significantly better

I rated this restaurant as poor mainly due to service. Some members of our group had nearly finished their meals before the others were served. I do not find this acceptable. In addition my food when it arrived was only just acceptable.I would not choose to repeat the experience.

It's been a long time since we've visited this hotel, but a quick mid week meal was very enjoyable. The was an extensive with plenty of variety. Meals were served quickly, hot and generous serving sizes. Not a problem with the meal at all. Remember, it's a pub but it was tasty and wholesome. We will return as a local family.

Easy check in and out. Good central location in Singleton. Rooms located right next to beer garden can experience a lot of noise in the late afternoon and evening but you can expect that going in so you shouldnât complain.Would happily stay. Basic accomodation but all we needed.Bar fridge, air con and ceiling fan.

After finishing the Mail Run bike ride my partner needed sustenance and somewhere to relax for a while. We arrived early at 11.45, but the manager helpfully asked the staff to take our order early and get our meals underway. A Big Pig pulled pork burger for him hit the spot and I had mexican sliders. These were both very tasty and served with a big pile of great chips were excellent value. Refreshed and fed we were then quickly on our way home.

Visiting Singleton for the Mail Run bike ride, we were pleasantly surprised by our meal here. We started with a shared plate of chicken lime spring rolls and followed with slow roasted lamb for me and slow roasted pork belly for him. Both meals were well presented, well seasoned and very good. The accompanying sides of parmesan greens and duck fat roasted potatoes were also very good and complemented the mains. We finished with affogato for a very pleasant meal. The ambience is more on the noisy side, but that may have just been the partying groups that were in on the night.
