Reviews on Bar food in Sibiu, Transylvania, Romania. The historic center of Sibiu is still partially enclosed by its original 12th-century medieval walls. Begin your visit in the Piata Mare, home to the Brukenthal Palace, containing the main halls of the Brukenthal National Museum. Descend the Passage of the Stairs down into lower Sibiu, and make sure to be on your best behavior as you cross the Bridge of Lies. A trek in the nearby Făgăraș Mountains will lead you past breathtaking ridges and serene glacial lakes.

A place for Sibiu, for all those who want a "Garden" all year long, where the atmosphere, food and wellbeing are at home.
Visited this place on our trip to Sibiu and we loved it. Although the staff don't speak English, they were nice and helpful. The food was tasty; I ordered the Smokey BBQ burger. The place is clean, warm and cozy. Recommended :)Chrisbrkt, we are glad to have visited and liked our place. We are trying to bring the best in our restaurant to make our customers experience the most enjoyable. Thank you for your recommendation and we will be waiting for you next time.

Restaurant. Delicious. Elegant. Interesting. Comfortable. Central. International. Special. At this international restaurant in Sibiu we are serving specialties from America, France, Italy and also traditional Romanian dishes, reinvented with a modern twis
Fish is not offered in many places we looked. Recommended from our hotel reception. This was a few minutes from the hotel. Pleasantly surprised by the welcome we had found many places not really ready with a smile and a welcome. We chose grilled salmon stir fry veg with saute potatoes. Really enjoyed our meal followed by the doughnut type dessert with sour cream and berries . 2 glasses of rose 133 lei. Excellent atmosphere all American. Just great thank you so much for your quick service with a smile

A small cozy bar near the city center. Perfect for breakfast , a cup of coffee and a lunch, durring the day and a cool and energic cocktail bar in the evening.
The cosy design give you a homie feeling. Walking distance from city center, The Box is one of the Sibiuâs hidden gems. If you come for a night-out with friends, a party in weekends or a cocktail, youâll have a great experience. They have a limited selection of dishes but the Virsli sausage was very good. One of the best places in town.

We came here on a Thursday night, full of Hope's after hearing a lot about the place. Location is nice, next to the zoo. But the place looks average, inside and out. From the beginning I new what is going to happen. Place looked bit busy but I could only count 4 servers. We sat down, and recieved menus after 10-15 min. Want to make it clear, this is not a rant about the service or food. We place a drink order first and it was brought after another 15 min. First think you noticed looking at the menu are the prices, they are quite high for Romania. I worked and dined in fine dining restaurants and I can say that the prices at Jacob's are up there with places that look 10 times better, where you can experience fine dining. Nevertheless we placed an order for two burgers. After a wait of 30 min the server politely approaches us to apologize that the order wight take extra 10-15 because of the volume of work. I said it's ok 10 min but not more please... 45 min for a burger is already alot. All the night the server was nice and polite, very courteous and I appreciate him. But this poor guy, along with one more colleague had a station with a group of 10, 4 groups of 4 and us 2... drinks and food order a la Carte, and also provide service with a smile. He was running, sweating, trying as much as possible, and he was still very courteous.. kudos for him. Food was generous and very tasty. And it's a shame cause I still left disappointed. They're short of people. It has potential but the management dont understand that they cannot only make money and bring nothing to the plate. It's a shame of the service and food. Hire people, pay 2 more guys and improve pls, give them a break cause they are to good for this restaurant right now. I hope somebody from the management gets to read this. As conclusion, prices very high for what they bring as services. And in all honesty, if your looking for a steakhouse in Sibiu, go to Benjamin's in the city center ... lower prices, better ambiance, less tables for one server to handle.Hi Florin,Thank you for your review and in-depth explanations. We are aware of the fact that there is fluctuation in the flow of clients, rising especially during the weekend. The same must have happened on the Thursday evening when you visited us.We will find ways to better backup the team during peak hours. We apologize for the delay and frustration caused.

We saw this place when we were walking in the center and decided to try it. They have a gd variety of burgers and fries which seemed unique. The staff speaks english very well. We had some issues paying with our cards but the guy handling the payment remained calm and patient enough to call the bank to get the machine working properly. The burger was delicious (we ordered the Joy burger) and it had a unique taste! They fries were equally delicious as well.Overall I really recommend this place if you're a burger addict :)

Central location, good service. The burgers we had were well above average, the sauces were amazing, the drinks were your run of the mill beverages that one can find anywhere. All in all it was a pleasant experience. Would come here again, would recommend. Hi Georgiana,Thank you for your post.
