This place is definitely the best waterfront restaurant in Edmonds. Slightly spendy, but better than Arnies in food quality and price. The bottom floor of the restaurant is more casual, more of the local happy hour crowd. You can jump off the boat at the marina next door and be eating in minutes. Outside seating is nice with the nice plants around the tables. Upstairs is a little fancier, with a more exotic menu. Comfortable seats, can accommodate bigger parties with a reservation. The outside patio is very nice in the summer. The sunsets can be fantastic from this place, so timing your reservation for sunset is a great idea! The chef here is really great at cooking salmon. Also the halibut, and clam chowder. Great wine selection, and a decent bartender downstairs that can send drinks upstairs. My family's favorite waterfront restaurant by far. 30+ visits so far.

Our family group of five came in on a Saturday for breakfast to start our day and arrived at 9:30 right at opening. We were one of only three tables there for the entire time, so there was no issue with noise, and our server was prompt and attentive. We ordered coffee and tea all around, and then our entrees: between the five us we had three of the Lake City Way-Vos and two of the Pub Breakfast plates. The food was good, especially the housemate sausage patty on my breakfast plate--just enough spice to make it interesting. The blackberry compote for the sourdough toast was super-tasty, eggs were good, and the hashbrowns OK, probably a little too crispy for my taste. But everybody at the table enjoyed their breakfasts.Service was slow considering the emptiness of the place--it took us a full hour for breakfast, and at least half of that time was spent waiting for our food. It was a good thing we didn't have to be anywhere with urgency, or we would have been pressed. Probably not a place to try and get in and out of for a quick sit-down breakfast, but rather have a slow weekend breakfast lingering over coffee.

I read the reviews and went here to watch the Super bowl. There are many TV's to watch the game and two areas for seating. Plenty of room. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was mediocre and the beer selection is very limited. They have a short list of cocktails, one is a bloody mary. There were seven choices of wine. and about that many for beer. I asked for a Michelob Ultra, nope. Bud, Bud Light, and three others. I had the Chipotle BBQ burger. It was acceptable. Fries were a large serving but were oily, heavy, limp and room temp. The menu has many selections. Burgers, pasta, pizza, wings both chicken and pork.(I know pigs don't have wings, usually) . There is a huge sandwich option which was featured on a food show. It is $39.95 and contains 4 or 5 pounds of meat and a pound of fries. All in all I would go back and try another item off menu. Good place to go watch a game if you aren't picky about your beverages or don't drink beer. $19.05 for a drink and sandwich.

Located on the water with beautiful water views occasionally interrupted by a passing ferry. Good, solid menu, good list of drinks, reasonably inexpensive. Servings are big and the food (including deserts) is very tasty. Excellent service, though food delivery could have been a bit faster, especially considering that the restaurant was half-empty.

This neighborhood Brewpub has it all. A great seating area for families and friends as well as a pub area just for adults. The servers are really great, cheerful and attentive! The beer is made onsite and they offer IPA's, Blonde ale, Brown ale, Stouts and great ciders. Wine and spirits are also offered with a great selection. The food is created by a great group of chefs and the menu does seasonal offerings as well as delicious mainstays. Right in the heart of Mountlake Terrace, this should be your next destination.

in fairness, the 4 of us ranked the food between average and good. The breakfast sandwich was an interesting idea and tasted pretty good but don't know if I would order it again. The cubed and roasted potatoes that came with it left something to be desired. Didn't really look like potatoes and most were simply too charred and must have been sitting around for too long. Dessert Kringle was nice. Attentive waitress.

I've always had great meals at Hills. I have my favorites which I get every time it seems, the Seafood Chowder (best in the area) the Salmon Caesar, Richmond Beach Burger (their fries are amazing!) and then of course the specials. Their wait staff is friendly and prompt, the atmosphere very cozy, the prices are the best deal in Seattle, and drink selection very good. I've thoroughly enjoyed their Calamari, the Vietnamese Beef Skewers, their Fish Tacos, Fish & Chips and their soup specials. My family enjoys their food as well, so it's a place we gather for special celebrations. But the best item on their menu is their Seasonal or Berry Cobbler with Olympic Mountain ice cream. For very special treats, I would bring my father, for this was his very favorite dessert around. I love this restaurant. Can't wait for warmth and sunshine so I can enjoy their outdoor seating.
