White Eagles Pub is a convenient place to meet for drink something delicious in the heart of Moscow! WE Pub has 3 rooms: Irish spacious, comfortable British and cozy Scottish. Our food and beer will not disappoint any fans of foreign classics and lovers o
We went to eat at this place as we saw that the many good comments. We arrived on the ground floor to see complete ignorance from the staff even though we were visible (we were not ghosts). My wife asked the uninterested barman where we could sit and there was no reaction. When I said that maybe we could check upstairs, he just nodded. So we went upstairs, sat down at a table as the staff still paid no attention to us and finally a waitress came to give us the menu. We made our choice of starters, warm food and beers and then we waited, waited, waited and nobody came. After 20 minutes of wait, we decided to leave frustrated. Nobody from the staff noticed our departure of course. Avoid this place as service is horrible and staff obviously do not want to work. Shame for them as we spend RUB 5000 in another place we found after (that other place knew what customer service was). Obviously, owner of this place is too rich to have staff that take care of clients properly. Such as shame!!! Do not bother and waste your time going to this place as they are not interested in providing minimal customer serviceHello, Laurent! Thank you so much for review! Please, text me on PM or personal e-mail ([email protected]) about your visit - which day and time you was there. All our comments is real, it's unusual situation, please, help us to knew more about it. Best regards, Olga.

got in there to negotiate new year holiday selebrationBeware of managers!Shorten menu for a new year eve - obvious. Chef wants to meet the holiday at home. then the manager want us to prepay a banquet, I mean choose the dishes in advance, even through the shorten menu, as he said kitchen is to be closed 10pm - 2 am. And no reasonable answer why.Unfortunately, I didn't ask for the manager's name (he made me really angry) Therefore we'll spend the holiday some other place. Though there is no other complains on food/service.

Russian Style Bar. Authentic Food, Smart selection of Alcohol, Nice Music. Good Beer, Fine Talks!!!
Located in about the center of the pedestrian Arbat street this place is for me definetely more of a bar than a restaurant, and usually these kind of places one finds in Tripadvisor under 'Attractions'. In fact I came here because of the good reviews, but it was not exactly what I had expected under 'restaurants'. In any case I was not disappointed and had a good evening from the point of view of food and atmosphere.First I went inside, where there is an upper room with too much TV for my taste, downstairs there was loud music, so my choice had been to sit outside on a bar stool, especially since it was a warm summer evening. A sweet, well informed waitress took care of me. Next to me sat a man from Jordan (a country I had enjoyed visiting), with whom I got into an interesting conversationIn the menu card I discovered something, which I hadn't known yet and this was 'Polugar'. In the meantime I have read about its fascinating history: a breadwine popular in Russia before 1895 and since rediscovered. It comes in a variety of flavours. The waitress told me that the most popular were the one with horseradish. Since I had tasted it a few days before with vodka I chose to try one with honey and pepper. It came almost warm, as apperently it should (room temperature) and was accompanied by a piece of dark bread topped by horseradish. As a main course I felt like something very Russian - after dinners at Georgian and Armenian restaurants - and my choice had been a 'Vodka Platter', the most Russian dish that was available in my eyes. It had three kind of Salo plus Herring, which I found strange at first, but it was okay. Most came on dark bread, also plenty of pickles and two sauces. All in all a fun, unexpected dinner at a place, which I wouldn't call a restaurant (the 'Balalayechnaya' itself doesn't).Thanks a lot for a such detailed review. U are right, we are BAR, but with authentic cuisine. Next time U have to try our homemade vodka liqueurs, I bet they will impress a lot)) Welcome to Balalaechnaya!!!)) Nice drinks, fine talks)

A really really nice place. Small, intimate, good food.
Have hit this place up a few times. Friendly staff, great food. Their ginger tea hit the spot! They make a mean americano too :)

My neighborhood pub. Beer selection awesome, food is typical pub food yet overpriced. Crowd can be weird, but always friendly. Service great - bartenders act like your old pals.

A cozy wine bar, located down the stairs to the left of the entrance to the Lenkom Theater. The space is divided into several zones, designed in the usual for "Practika" bar design in the loft style. A modern kitchen with an Italian accent and quality win
The portions are small, food is average and choice is rather poor. They have wine, but most of it is quite simple. The staff is nice though.

I've visited this place with a few friends based on the encouraged reviews. I would say that the place is good as regards to their price level, food quality, cosy atmosphere and excellent service quality. it is very closed to Tverskaya street. it looks like a cheap bar inside. Good thing inside of restaurant is a lot of choise of ciders. it worths to visit. Thanks for your review! Hope to see you again and try to get new 5* review.
