We arrived at about 3:30 on a Tuesday and they were moderately busy. Excellent menu with lot's of choices. Also available is a daily special. We both chose the special which was turkey devonshire and a turkey wrap. Both very good, about $10 and came with a brownie bite for desert. We saw a fish sandwich deluvered to another patron and it appeared to be hot and cooked just right. Served with fries. Many types of salad and sandwiches to choose from.

Home of the Soldier and the Best Wings in Pittsburgh
We've never eaten in-house, but have just gotten delivery... my goodness though! They have so many choices for wings and we've yet to find a flavor that isn't delicious! They only take cash though - so be prepared with that regard. They've also got some incredible other foods - salads, burgers, etc that are just as good!

Visited there today. New Menu, but very, very limited. I ordered a California Cobb salad with chicken. It was mostly greens, my wife ordered the chicken fajita wrap with a side salad, it was mostly greens.Based on this experience we not plan to return. I was told NPL no longer owns the restaurant/bar.

Visited the bistro for a business lunch and it did not disappoint. Started with the boneless naked wings cooked to perfection and several sauces. One was the molten lava which was warm but not hot. Another was the hot&blue which was great. The Roastbeef panini is excellent with just the right touch of horseradish in the sauce. Only regret was not being able to try the wide assortment of beers on tap and in bottles. This I hope to do on my next trip to the area. Small and unassuming, but packed with flavor. Service was also spot on.

We were approached after being seated that they were training a new waiter. We then were pestered to order before we were ready then bothered us often throughout when the restaurant was not busy....realize they have to train new waiters but they should be monitored or told not to continue to interrupt patrons so often and just allow the party to go at their own pace for an enjoyable dinner.

This place is ok. There food is good and has lots of drinks! The staff is ok!! They have really good wings. This place is decently clean (except the bathrooms)! They have a big big projector screen. He food comes out really slow too! The only problem is the bathrooms need some attention!

Long-running Pittsburgh-born chain known for sandwiches piled high with coleslaw & french fries.
Now that Primanti Brothers is a larger chain, I just can't seem to get excited about it. This location by the airport is really nothing more than a "typical" fast casual restaurant....Applebee's, Chili's, TGIF, Primanti Bros...........Having said that, becasue we were in the area, I've been here twice (once to eat in, once as carry out), and I can't help but think there's "something" missing with the sandwich...some kind of flavoring or something added to keep the sandwiches from tasting realtively bland. With this now no longer a unique experience, and OK sandwiches, I'm not in any hurry to return (to any location...not specific to this place). On the positive end, for the takeout expeirence, we ordered online, and picked it up, and this worked out very well.Hi Matt, Thanks for the feedback. Getting you the best Primanti Bros. food and customer service is our priority. Could you please email your name, contact information, and a link to this review to [email protected] so that we can work to correct this?

Sunny Jim's tavern has been serving our community since 1934. Come and see why we are Pittsburgh's longest running Tavern.
We arrived at a very busy time. There was a gathering after an apparent funeral. We thought with so many people that the service would be slow and the food would be slow coming out of the kitchen. No such thing happened. The service was excellent. The place is clean, and the food very good. Since this seems to be the half way point for the 2 couples coming from opposite directions, we will return. Two things that prevented a 5 star rating. #1, they have Pepsi products (too sweet, ugh) and their beer selection is ordinary and boring. In this day and age, the trend is beers of which their selections in bottles and on tap were tereible. Not one single winter dark beer except Guiness. That's it?! What in the world are they thinking? I would think they would make an effort to be more trendy.
