Gastro style pub serving the freshest locally sourced produce. All delivered to you a whole lot of passion. Simple recipe!
Great lunch fish & chips for 2 of our party , the scamp, calamaris and king prawns for me, however my Dad as set in his ways as he is fancied an all day breakfast type of lunch, the menu is varied and full of choice, but trust him to ask for something else !! The manager as cool as they are put together sausages, bacon field mushroom 2 chicken eggs and sweet potato fries and a Rankin of bakes beans , magically appeared too, all beautifully presented And looked stunning. Dad said it was so tasty and very appreciative that on a really busy service time this wouldn't be possible, but wow amazing service, Thank you so much . Xxx

We had a lovely evening meal at the Bullfinch. Our friend is registered with McMullen and, on his birthday, received a voucher for a complementary bottle of wine; delicious. David served us all evening and he could not have been more friendly, helpful and efficient. They were supporting national curry week and the chicken korma special was delicious and filling. The food menu gives plenty of choice and everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Thanks to Bob and Mandy and their team for making the Bullfinch such a good local venue.Dear TerryfromSevenoaks. Thank you for leaving us a review. I am delighted that you and your friends enjoyed your recent visit with us and that you were able to enjoy a complimentary Birthday bottle of wine with your meal. I shall ensure that your comments are passed to all the team, in particular David, Bob and Mandy. I look forward to seeing you again soon. Kind regards Claire (Assistant Manager).

I love this pub. Food is excellent, nice garden and a small playground for the kids. You need to book in the colder months as the restaurant isnât massive. It also has a great private dinning area.

I went there today with my young daughter for lunch. The young lady behind the bar was very friendly and efficient. We ordered fish and chips. We sat outside as it was a lovely sunny day. The food arrived after about 15 minutes and was delicious. Very large portions and the waitress was also very friendly. We will definitely return.

We brought out the Wife`s parents for lunch who were celebrating their Diamond wedding anniversary and what a great choice the service was attentive and helpful the food was superb between us we had the Duck, Chicken, Salad,Risotto, king prawns all served very quickly and very well presented. Drinks and food all reasonably priced, one personal criticism not keen on roof tiles as a serving dish. Other than that when in the area we shall return.

Country pub set in a lovely village setting, serving good beer and excellent pub food. We welcome families of all ages and are very dog friendly. We are closed on Mondays (except bank holidays) We offer Gluten Free and vegetarian options.
Walked through Knole Park and were looking on phone for a place for light lunch. Saw pub on TripAdvisor . From reviews was concerned it was a gastro pub and would not appreciate walkers. Concerns unfounded. Folks behind the bar were great. Good beers and selection of homemade sandwiches. Will return

I visited recently with some friends and had an excellent meal. My baked cod in a cheese sauce with mash and vegetables was hot and delicious. The restaurant was lively and that to me speaks volumes. With so much competition these days, people want good food at the right price and that was exactly what we got.Do the people who write negative reviews about the food or service speak to Manager before doing so? No!I look forward to to another visit and will recommend The Bricklayers Arms.Well done everyoneI really appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review and I totally agree with your comments, it is a shame sometimes when we are not given a chance to rectify mistakes or able to change things when not to people's tastes! Hopefully we will see you again soon, Andy
