Went to My Friends with another couple on a Saturday evening. They take reservations and try hard to put you where you wish to seat. Like other reviewers said, this is a cozy casual place...nothing fancy. It has a bar, TVs, handful of tables. Waitress was nice, although a bit busy. She was very informative about their specials and gave great advice on what regulars tend to like there. Menu is immense and has a host of interesting dishes. It has a whole page of grilled cheese sandwich options! We found the food and drinks to be good. It was a nice experience, and we will go again

We stopped by for a late lunch. We sat outside on the large patio with mostly covered tables. The service was OK considering that most places slack off after the lunch rush. Several of the tables hadnât been bussed. The food was good and the prices were good. Not sure if itâs more of a bar and servers food. Weâd go back if in the area, but I wouldnât drive a long distance to go.

Our restaurant is warm and inviting with exposed beams and a mission-style décor, as well as a bar, several gas-burning fireplaces and two semi-private rooms for small functions of eight to 10 guests. Our eclectic menu features innovative American Regiona
We attended a family brunch with adults and all ages of children, and the staff handled it with ease. The choices were all delicious and the bespoke omlets very good. Thanks to the staff, for their service, and patience even taking the family picture of our crew.

Philly Steak sandwich was large and tasty. My dining companions really enjoyed the mussels.Service was good. The only unpleasant part of the experience was the inside temperaturesince the a/c was broken on a very hot summer day.Nonetheless we really liked the food quality. Our beers were inadequately chilled reportedly due to the electrical problem. The waitress graciously comped us for the drinks.I thought our meals were fairly priced.

Iâm a huge lover of craft beer, so when I saw this place I knew I was going to stop. The beer menu certainly does not disappoint with a lot of unique selections from most of the local breweries. The food is really good. We had muscles and crabcake sandwiches, and both did not disappoint. The bar was full of local people who were always ready for a conversation, which in this day and age itâs tough to find.

Ok it's just me I guess since most of the reviews are 4 or 5 "stars", but I just hate it when places offer "inspired" dishes by adding blue cheese, guacamole, hoisin sauce, hollandaise (sexy fries) or pickled this and that to food that is perfectly good without the inspiration. It must be a millennial thing and I just don't like it. A steak like Peter Luger prepares is classic, don't mess with it. Classics become classic because they are perfect or near perfect as they are. I hated the French Onion soup, the Vidalia onions may have been the culprit. The filet mignon was spot on. The problem is that filets are among my least favorite cuts of beef, but adding a pat of butter to it made it respectable. It is so easy to prepare a New York strip or a prime sirloin at home, I seldom order a steak out. In this case, it seemed to be the only entrée I knew I could enjoy. To shorten this a bit, of the four of us, the three others graded the evening's experience 3 "stars". So I awarded 3 for both food and value.

The Woodside Lodge is located on the back side of Spring Mountain. It was built in the early 1920's and is the last standing Inn among several that catered to that periods travelers who came by train to Schwenksville to escape Philadelphia 's summer heat.
Wednesday Night 1/2 price burgers and fries.Only $5 with the purchase of a beverage from 4-9pm. We were lucky enough to sit outside on the porch as the sun went down on a lazy summer evening. Everyone there is so cordial and helpful. It shows when people like their job. Food was delicious and well prepared. You won't believe how much food you get for a mere $5 on Wednesday. Nice selection of craft beer. They even have a wine on tap. Reservations are recommended. Treat yourself to a good summer night out that won't break the bank. Thank you to the staff at Woodside for a memorable evening. We will definitely be back soon. And we live a 45 min. drive away.
