Wife and I took the in laws and they loved their Sunday roast. Amazing potion size, loads of veg. Make sure you book a table because itâs a busy place.

Twelve miles of moorland walking in fine weather gave me a decent appetite and an evening meal at the Falcon really hit the spot. Really friendly welcome from the landlady who also let me try the golden ale she recommended before I bought a pint - and it was excellent. And the food was particularly good and beautifully presented - a butternut squash, chick pea and cumin wellington with really light flaky pastry, served with lots of new potatoes and some tender broccoli, artfully arranged round a large plate with generous daubs of green pesto. Definitely a case where the presentation was absolutely right and looked good and appropriate rather than just trendy, and theyâve got their portion sizes sorted too - I was well satisfied. There were a fair number of other diners there too so itâs clearly popular, even at 8.30 on a Wednesday night, and itâs a big enough place that thereâs plenty of space and even privacy if you want it. Iâll most certainly come again if I can.

We called in for a couple of pints after the cricket. The pub is a bit of throwback to the 60/70âs when pubs were just that. The pub brews itâs own bitters and there were about half a dozen hand pulled bitters. We had the styrian which was a decent pint. Itâs certainly worth a visit if youâre in the town.

Hickory burger and steak and chips. Prawn cocktail starters were ok but nothing special. I asked for my steak to be done medium but was on the rare side, still delicious tho, the burger was lovely. Friendly staff, dogs allowed in 1 side. Great little busy pub, pool table and darts board

After discovering The Three Jolly Sailors the last time we stayed here, there was no hesitation in booking in for dinner for every night of our holiday. The food is superb, proper home cooked, traditional grub served in huge portions. We tried a wide variety of dished both from the specials board and the main menu and they were all delicious. Standouts are the steak pie and the chicken curry, so much chicken in it! Staff are very friendly and waiting times are quick. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

Visited here last month as a party of 8,we ordered food hoping it was going to be as good as the food at the other pub they used to run.I ordered the yorkshire pudding with sausages etc. After a very long wait my meal arrived but no chips!I had to ask for my chips as they were missing which took another 5 minutes while my food was going cold. The yorkshire pudding was average with cheap quality sausages and the most tasteless gravy i have ever had. Also the chips were dry and not worth the wait. Also this meal has gone up in price from what it used to be.I will not be returning as it was not a good experienceHi there pizzaman15,Thankyou for your feedback, and we do apologise that you didnât enjoy your visit with us as much as hoped. All of our meat is locally sourced from Glavesâ Butchers which are a little dearer than what we used to buy at The Londesborough, therefore our prices will have increased a little. And we do apologise for the wait for your food, as you can understand we try to aim to send all the food out at the same time, especially if itâs a large party, and some meals may take longer to prepare than others.Again, the Coachman team give their sincerest apologies, and I do hope you decide to visit us again in future. Many apologies, Emma.

We saw the sign for Spiral Inn and Victorian shopping village on the roundabout and decided to investigate. A really old fashioned Victorian themed pub and coffee shop with a recreated themed shopping area. Lots of nostalgic memorabelia and quirky little shops. We loved it and finished our visit off with a pint in the pub. Loved it!

Been in plenty of times for drinks, but I had never eaten before until now. Went for a meal as a couple towards end of September, it was a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere as always. The service was excellent, the young girl Ellie was polite and friendly, took care of us nicely. The meal itself was tasty and plentiful, couldn't fault it, my partner very much enjoyed the cocktails afterwards too, she would highly recommend.Won't leave it so long until eating here again.
