After a morning of pheasant hunting in Sauk Center we stopped into ElmerZ for lunch. They have a wide variety of menu items. The fried pickles are surprisingly good and the Tater Tot hot dish served in a bread bowl is outstanding. The one knock would be that the tap beer was flat and tasted off in addition to not having 3 of the 6 possible selections. The service was great. Worth a try.

We had a steak sandwich here and it was delicious and at a very reasonable price. My husband is working in this city for the next couple of weeks so I stopped to visit him. I highly recommend this pub for a good sandwich!
Top 10 American food in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, United States
Their $9.95 American special appetizer platter was more like garbage than food. We should have sent it back at first sight. Way overcooked in old oil and not fit to eat. Most was left for the trash.
