The hanging chairs are a must try when you are in the area, the breeze of the ocean fills you with a cooling sense. The drinks were decent but not wauw, service is the same and English was a little struggle. We loved it here but sadly the rodents running on the beach make us a bit worried.

The best service I've had on my vacation here in Sanya, but that is the consistency that Marriott does provide globally! I enjoyed some Sauvignon Blanc on the terrace with impeccable service! It was a delight to relax and enjoy the views!

We spent most of nights here as there was nowhere else to go.The drinks were expensive for what they were but the entertainment was fun and some evenings people joined in. Our meats come from our resident German butcher from Hainan island, as we take pride in our quality, taste and presentation.A Po-Boy, Beef Sandwich, Chicken Parmigani, German Sausage Platter or a suckling pig for you and your friends are only a few of the new items we serve. While being bored in Sanya is a taboo, The Pod is breaking this taboo at Dadonghai Bay. Iâve spent a weeks in Sanya to visit an old friend and she booked this hotel for me. To be honest, Sanya is a little bit boring and I have to say that The Pod is my favourite spot to chill and spend my nights in Sanya. The ambience is very chill and elegant with an infinity pool to enjoy the stunning ocean view. During the weekend nights, there's always a hot blondie DJ to light up your night. No dress code!!! I was so happy that I could wear whatever I want and enjoy my drink with such a good view. Visited Dolphin almost every night during my stay in Sanya. Great atmosphere, music, staff, and food for international visitors and locals at reasonable prices. Nightly live music and specials make this place rock. Met a group of rowdy Russian tourists here and got pretty loose!

This hotel is a tourist sight in itself. Lovely architecture to walk around and skybar is reasonably priced considering China is similiarly priced. Food does't start till 5pm so were't able to try them for lunch as planned. 10mins walk from the duty free centre so if you're on a free bus from your hotel, you can shop and visit this bar too.
